The layout used to convey items obtained, weapon ammo, current character, current character H.P. current boss and boss H.P. is genius and really clean to look at to easily convey info to the viewer. Good job

I've never watched a speed run with the extra side panel, that is genius.

I remember back in the day, I did an estimated calculation on X and Zero power rating, based on the dmg Kaiser Sigma does to X with no armor chest piece one time I tried to beat the game with no armor, he kills you in 2 hits at full hp(32). So I gathered that Zero's power must be more than 32Krp, since the Z saber kills bosses in 2 hits, we can assume it will do more dmg on Zero's hand since he's more skilled at close combat. And for X, I don't remember, his fully charged X buster does only 2hp dmg, and 32Krp means 18dmg, then I think his, starts at like 4Krp, but that's ok, since his strength is that no one knows what is his true potential and his limit is.

Holy fuck, so many double neons lol... Just getting one first-try is uncommon and here, they're being used in place of wall kicks at every, single opportunity... I don't think Jesus himself could pull that shit off. Sick TAS, though. This must have taken for-fucking-ever. It's amazing to see what is *technically* possible...

What does Acid Burst do in TAS? I saw you using it a lot, but not for damaging any enemy.

this is a TAS. It takes a lot of work. basically going over the whole game, frame by frame, and inputting each button press. it probably took him months to make. So it's basically making a movie, slowly...very slowly, and perfectly. This cannot be replicated by a human playing the game. So, in regards to the side panel, it was probably very easy to make it afterwards.

How is the mega buster doing so much damage? What mod did you use? Most of the enemies you killed can not be killed with just 1 or 2 uncharged shots like you did. Plus some how going through enemies without damage like at 9:03. Neon tiger fight the hits against you were not registering for some reason.

Dash shot is a kind of well known exploit in mega man x games which helps deal more damage. In mmx3 they removed its effect on bosses

I always go for the hyper chip.

I want more of these types of TAS videos with the side panel

shame this got obsoleted, but I love the overlay

That's called a Neo Jump. You dash in the air and, while dashing, you fire a charged shot and jump on the same frame. It's doable but very difficult.

Apparently they do that glitch because it's faster than the boss exploding.

I never played X2 nor X3 but the bosses in X2 were horrible, they should have hired whoever designed the bosses in this game to work on X2

Ben Plus! They are rude armor chips, you need the chimera armor to activate these platforms that let you use them.

It's not just one blast but in megaman non-boss enemies don't have immunity frames so you can just shoot 30 times a second

I was thinking about this and I think it makes sense from a speed perspective since the boss explosions are really slow - fighting Godkarmachine o Inary means you only have to watch one explosion from them.
