Shoutout to ‪@NoobKillerRoof‬ , ‪@Nasoreeno‬ , ‪@crash41596‬ and the MediEvil speedrun community for their talent and curiousity that led to discover many glitches and skips of the game.
RULES
1) Enemies can be harmed only with Dan's arm.
2) Using the Daring Dash to damage enemies is discouraged but allowed, as long as this feature is not abused.
3) Other weapons may be used only to clear boulders and perform skips.
Note: Arm% rules on Speedrun.com do not allow major skips or glitches. For this reason I named the video "Arm% + Major Skips".
TIMING
Time starts on "New Game"; ends on final hit on Zarok.
CURRENT NON-TAS RECORD
Current Arm% record belongs to JacoboTheChocobo in 1:03:04.
However, keep in mind that Speedrun.com rules are way more strict, so he played all the levels, with no major skips or glitches.
NOTES
1) It's possible to complete the game with one Life Bottle only.
2) Crash41596 found many many interesting skips that save lots of time. However, these are very hard to replicate, so I preferred a more "standard" approach.
3) No Dragon Gate Skip, chose Rune Duplication instead, because I wanted to keep my mental sanity.
4) Soldiers spawn glitch in Zarok's Lair doesn't work on Bizhawk, so I had to play that section normally.
