This is a Tool-Assisted Speedrun (TAS), which means that this video was made in an emulator with savestates and slowdowns for a theoretically perfect run, for entertainment purpose.

* Intro with FMOD is in 60 fps. Framerate difference was accounted.

Please note:
- Time in video differs from time in emulator because of slowdowns and loads during TAS playback;
- Game was modified to make it work properly with emulator. Nothing regarding game logic was modified;
- Some of Haunted House rooms were modified to be brighter for better watchability (otherwise, you would see kid jumping and moving in totally dark room). For transparency, there is a video showing these rooms without that change - • Kill The Guy TAS segme... ;
- There might be inconsistencies in fonts in comparison with original game;

I just realized that the skip route in 30:06 is absolutely RTA viable, this is huge

this skip is pretty unstable in RTA because that requires a specific vstring to get through the gap without touching spikes even while TASing, i couldn't do it from first try
I love the kid is shooting following the bgm

you can do 8:17 level faster if you take the right side bullets and go down, requires accuracy, but its possible

That's right, I've been shown this trick earlier. Unfortunately, I didn't know about that when I was TASing it and people told me about this technique after I've finished it.
