Ninja Five-O features a ninja cop battling evil ninja masters and terrorists.
Joe Osugi, bizarre 'anti-terrorist ninja', is called in to assist the local police, who seem to be completely useless in rescuing some hostages.
The game is basically a series of rooms connected together. Your job is to rescue the hostages and then escape the stage through the red door. You have in your arsenal a three-level shuriken, a sword, and a grappling hook similar to the one from Bionic Commando ( tasvideos.org/32G ). Joe also has two special abilities: to make himself invincible and to attack all enemies on screen.
Memory ( tasvideos.org/Users/Profile/M... ) improves the previous TAS ( tasvideos.org/1257M ) by 28.64 seconds, thanks to better optimisation and new tricks. Please read the author's comments ( tasvideos.org/6884S ) for more details.

so it's a rework of Sega's Shinobi, with Mega Man's slide and the Bionic Commando grapple arm tossed in.
0:19 228K Rerecord ? How many years did it take to do this tas ? i don't think i've ever seen a rerecord count that high ever, especially for a 16 minute tas

Just a few months but I tend to do a lot of rerecords in a short timeframe.
