Samus's first adventure is retold in Metroid: Zero Mission with extra storyline, extra items and on a system with a better graphics processor. This run completes the game with 100% item collection, at least as far as the end-of-game display is concerned.
This run is an improvement over Dragonfangs ( tasvideos.org/Users/Profile/D... )'s . It saves about 4 seconds of In-Game time, but uses a new route that removes lots of door transitions, saving about 20 seconds of real time. The previous run used VisualBoyAdvance that runs this game inaccurately fast compared to BizHawk (mGBA core) used here, which is why the movie time appears longer.

7:48 Bruh, I still like how some TAS just do a funny and syncs the character movement to the music It's funny, but still keeps up with the pace

Seeing mecha Ridley get obliterated is quite hilarious
I like tas and 100%

Will there be faster video-version with cutting door transitions and item pickup jingles? iirc that was done with the snes original once

Super Metroid isn't the original and the door transitions and item jingles are much faster in this game compared to super metroid

@@MemoryTAS metroid fusion and metroid prime both have a edited version removing cutscenes.
Why is the listed time on this one slower than the one you did 10 years ago? Did the rules get updated?
This at 2× speed has Super Metroid vibes (Bc of how fast Samus runs)
