At least the Andy Asteroid levels from EWJ1 had more levels per intermission than the Puppy Love levels which has only 3.

As the sheep touches the wall and Jim is hit by it at the same time, it causes Jim to be sent downwards into the wall.It's not a precise trick but you only get one chance to do it

A TAS for the SNES version would be overall slower except for Villi People, which is faster due to the first wall clip being done sooner. Unlike the Genesis version, each level title screen can't be skipped so it accumulates throughout. While I wouldn't mind working on it, it'll be down the line when my other TAS projects are done.

It's been known that you can skip Udderly Abducted on SNES for as long as it's been possible on Genesis.

when i was a kid (about 2004) i accidentally pushed a power unit and got OOB and free flight in the first stage and i could repeat this thing. I dunno can TAS do the same shit ha-ha-ha. But it needs to be checked on SEGA play station

For a sequel it's a step back compared to the first game.

Good question, I drop certain puppies so that the intervals go faster, same with taking damage from Peter. Certain intervals change depending on RNG and some are always the same. Basically, Puppy Love 1 round 3 and Puppy Love 2 and 3 are RNG hell.

@@Amarillo I see! I actually had no idea the patterns were RNG-generated, but I was always too busy running around with my hair on fire to notice as a kid, lol. So those three are just coded to be RNG hell, huh? Understandable. Thank you for the explanation, it was the one thing this whole mind-blowing run that I couldn't wrap my head around!

It's a sprite overload glitch called The Bob Despawn. You skip the cutscene where you fight Bob the goldfish by having too many things on screen at once and hitting the cutscene barrier.

the ps1 version isn't based on the same code and is essentially a remake, barring certain shared graphical assets. its play control feels very weird
