I would give this to Tarzan without equivocation. If anyone had actually read the Edgar Rice Burroughs' Tarzan novels, you would realize that Tarzan was the king of his realm (the jungle). The Predator could go invisible, but this would not deter Tarzan. He grew up in the jungle and could hear every branch move. He was also as powerful as a gorilla, which could have stopped a Predator dead in its tracks. Tarzan could have easily snuck up behind a Predator and placed a wooden spear through his heart. Don't underestimate Tarzan. He wasn't a normal human being. From early childhood, he was taking on attacks that were superior to him -- eventually, he managed to master them. Just read a few of the Edgar Rice Burroughs' Tarzan novels, and you'll realize this was not just another puny human. He was in fact superhuman, and I cannot see how any Predator would get the better of him in his own environment. Terrific to hear the original soundtrack. Too much time spent with Tarzan cowering. The ending third is just weird and needless. I think this could be a good movie ... if done correctly.

@@zellieee764 You can ask me anything; however, I am not sure I'll be able to provide you with an adequate answer. I don't know what your project seeks, so you may not like what I have to say. First off, I have to tell you that I did not like this video. A Predator would not seek a contest with an unarmed man. In the video Tarzan is not even carrying a knife. It would be considered dishonorable for a Predator to hunt/kill a man/woman who posed no threat. Secondly, Tarzan, here, is depicted as nothing but fresh meat -- not a worthy trophy. The Tarzan I remember from reading all of Burroughs' novels on Tarzan, is that he was a predator in his own right. Thus, I believe that Tarzan could have and should have taken advantage of his knowledge of the jungle's terrain, his heightened senses and (maybe) equal strength to launch a first attack. Instead, we see a Tarzan who is just running away. And, as I said before, the philosophizing at the end of the video is misplaced and boring. A contest between Tarzan and a Predator has the potential for being highly entertaining. I think Dark Horse Comics did a book on such a match-up, and I vaguely remember it being worth reading. Other than this single video, I am not familiar with DeWet's endeavors.

Tarzan vs Predator, all you need to do is watch the last 20 or so minutes of the original Predator movie, the closest Arnold ever got to playing Tarzan. Almost like a sparate mini flic to the rest of the movie, but fitted in well with the rest of the storyline.

Without the armor and tech the yautja would destroy Tarzan. Very muscular, between 8-9 feet tall and 400-700lbs.

The film itself is a bit weak, but the message in the end is very powerful.

Actually, if you had read the all the original Tarzan books, you would know that his senses of smell, hearing etc were so great that he would have made a much more formidable opponent to begin with. Also, he was never without his father's hunting knife, and usually had his bow &arrows, and a rope for weapons. He picked up men larger than himself and shook them like a terrier shaking a rat. Was a great idea, but lacked the savagery and brute strength and agility that Tarzan was known for.

unfortunately many people are unfamiliar with the original Tarzan. 1 predator wouldn't fair well against the novels depiction. Not just his natural skills being brought up in such a harsh environment, but in the books his intellect is also unrivaled. They always paint him out to be a dim wit in modern films etc, but he taught himself how to read, and learns several languages in the books.

Se hay muchos que es probable de que no les haya gustado nada y aunque solo sea una expecie de dramatizacion nadie se explica de como Tarzan pudo vencer al Depredador que se supone un ser inteligente dotado de tegnologia extraterrestre y que por lo tanto esto lo hacia superior a Tarzan, pero deberiamos examinar algunos puntos 1 La ecena se desarrolla en la selva y este es el territorio de Tarzan entonces es logico y seria de suponer de que Tarzan conoce bien la zona mejor que el Depredador, 2 Aunque el Depredador caza por medio de vision infrarroja y puede incluso hacerce invisible, Tarzan se da cuenta de ello y logra bloquear el sensor que le hubiera permitido al Depredador hubicar a Tarzan ya que este lo bloquea utilizando barro de manera que vemos que utilisando algo natural el sensor infrarrojo del Depredador se vuelve inutil 3 El Hecho de poser tegnologia superior no lo hace invensible al Depredador y hay que recordar que en el pasado ejercitos modernos fueron vencidos por nativos armados con lanzas y garrotes como le ocurrio al ejercito britanico frente a los zulues en el caso de Isanwana en Sud Africa en 1879 Y por lo tanto el depredador no esta exento y tambien puede ser derrotado, 4 Nadie se explica como Tarzan pudo vencer al Depredador con un palo si este tenia una armadura ? Pues simplemente no la hubo ya que el Depradador no tubo tiempo de activar su mecanismo de de auto destruccion lo que no ocurrio asi porque jugo el factor sorpresa, ya que en lugar del Depredador sorprender a Tarzan este lo sorprendio a el, recordemos que cuando se libro la 2da guerra mundial al ejercito japones se le conocia por ser a este los maestros de la guerra sorpresa como ocurrio en Pearl Habor pero esto no ocuurio asi cuando los norteamericanos sorprendieron a los japoneses en mas de una ocasion, mas tarde cuando ocurrio la llamada guerra de Vietnam nadie se explicaba como un ejercito tan poderoso como era el ejercito estadounidense pudiera ser vencido por un ejercito compuesto en su mayoria por campesinos mal armados pero aun asi todos saben que historicamente Vietnam le gano la guerra los Estados Unidos y entonces porque Tarzan no le hubiera podido ganar al Depredador ?

My late uncle could do a Tarzan yell !💪

Interesting short film & match up. Um my problem with this was where was his trusty survival knife & pet chimpanzee cheetah or using his jungle animal friends for help , the elephant, lion and his ape family. Tarzan has the ability of communication with them. Also Tarazan knows how too make n use a bow & arrow + a spear for hunting or combat. From having contact with other jungle trides he learned combat skills and traps. Raised by apes he's stronger than the average man and agile too. This a better challenge for the Predator. A much better chance for the king of the jungle Tarzan too survive.

Hey next time put some time and effort in such a magnificent idea!!! There was once a 2 part comic book based more on the works of ERB than this!!! It was set at the Earths core!!! Now that would have made a great movie!!! Somebody should get a big time movie studio to do this!!! Maybe Adam Driver as a young Tarzen and Harrison Ford as an older Tarzen telling the story like a docudrama!!! Now that would sale movie tickets!!! Maybe older Tarzen telling his stories to Shakespeare or Dr WHO!!! Now that would really work!!! Just imagine Tarzan ON the TARDIS!!! Hey Dr WHO as Tarzan maybe!!! Very wild stuff!!! On the Predators home planet!!!! WOW!!!!!!!!

This short is very well done with the silent acting and the effects However my problem with the plotting is that Tarzan does not go anywhere without his KNIFE...Besides his brain-Tarzan's most important weapon is his trusty long blade...

Great job guys. Had the alien just wanted to kill Tarzan and rip his back out he could’ve sneaked up on him at any time and done that. Predator diminished his power profile to have a fair fight, therefore a true test of his personal skills.

The character as written by Burroughs was at least as strong as predator and was never without his fathers hunting knife. His hearing and sense of smell were far more acute than other humans. Nearly all simians could communicate with him. Predator would not have had much of a chance.

A Predator hunts & fights honorably. No weapons just settle it by physical combat (fighting)skills. Trazan is still out matched. Disappointing results.

I never saw him as that huge. I always figured he was more around 6’3 and 225 pounds (built more like Superman or Captain America); lean and athletic, but still incredibly powerful.

Tarzan could see that which could not be seen. Hear what could not be heard. If any other Jungle creature responded to the "invisible' Predator then Tarzan would know. The birds and insects all where part of the Jungle and the Jungle would speak. If anything.... The Predator would realize how worthy an opponent Tarzan would be and what a cherished trophy. Then reveal itself and fight Tarzan with blade against blade. The Predators have a code they live by. At least in the books

se ve que no sabes observar, esta es una pequeña joya aunque se haya hecho con poco presupuesto, no conoces de buenas cintas, la trama es buena porque le pusieron a un muy buen contrincante al depredador, un hombre en la jungla sin tecnologia pero que conocia el lenguaje de los animales y conocia el terreno mejor que el depredador,exelente!!

Tyvek Jackson he blew Tarzan up with the bomb, Tarzan was too stupid to realize he needed to get the hell out of there and tried crawling away and turned to dust from the evaporation lol this is some funny shit, this is why it goes back 10 years in time to show Tarzan the life he has lived from his new forever destination in the afterlife

I author actually Hated the way that they portrayed Tarzan in the Movies so he decided to Direct it himself the way he wrote them!

Desde chile .... el depredador tendria en tarzan un oponente muy superior al humano comun y corriente .... fuerza y resistencia fisica superior ... capacidades acrobaticas ... tarzan lo habria cazado dirigiendo un grupo de gorilas ... era un rey , tendria recursos infinitos ... el depredador descubriria que la selva era una trampa para el apenas entro en ella .. de noche tarzan tendria ventaja ... por que tendria su instinto , lo veria , lo sentiria , lo oiria y hasta lo oleria .
