Tarpology. You can use the Lanshan 2 inner tent (or another) in combination with a tarp, e.g. in combination with my "Fox's Snout" 3x3 tarp setup (available on my channel - • New fully enclosed tar... ). This tarp arrangement will provide a fully enclosed tent with the option of using a large closed or open vestibule for cooking. By raising or lowering the tent walls, you can regulate air circulation, adapting it to current weather conditions.
The tent could also be set up without sticks, just using a rope stretched between the trees.
In this video I used a smaller, older version of the Lanshan 2 inner tent. If the tarp turns out to be too small, you can make the inner tent smaller by converting it to a version with one supporting pole, as in the case of Lanshan 1.
You also do not have to use the side guy lines (inner tent), which you can replace with cantilever sticks. I think this last idea can also be applied to the regular two-piece versions of both tents. The poles should be firmly planted in the ground. They should also be as high as the hook (the ones in the movie are a bit too long) and be smooth at the top so as not to damage the tarp or the outer tent.
The clothespin seen in the video, which collects loose parts of the back wall, is just an example (I didn't have anything else at hand). You can use something else, for example a binder clip.
