I bought this and coloured it as well. I absolutely loved doing it and your deck video was a great help to me.

So happy to hear and I'm sure yours look amazing! 💜
I LOVE that you showed this, I've actually been thinking of doing the same thing when I purchase this deck.

Awesome! Hope you'll have fun!
I think the coloring came out great! I love how you chose which things to draw attention to, and the reasons you chose each color. I think it really adds to the art in the cards, in a wonderful subtle way. I'm sure the deck reads better for you now that you've made it personal to yourself.

I love seeing this. I do all kinds of mods connecting the cards to me. I think these are pretty cool and you did a better job than you give yourself credit for. :) Thanks for sharing!

Interesting direction to take a mod, but you obviously have a very good artistic eye and I feel the lack of color in this deck, so thanks for sharing!

Such a fabulous use of spot colour...really helps, as the cards have so much detail.

Absolutely beautiful and very much in the spirit of Ana Tourain's designs and art style. Please can you tell me what make of markers you used. Thank you for your inspiration.

I just bought a cheap set from aliexpress, a noname brand.
I would buy this colored version! I looove the Ace of Cups! I know just blue so beautiful! And the 2 of cups reflecting each other’s colors! I wouldn’t have thought these touches…did u know what u wanted to do before w/ each card or you just went with the flow?

That's so nice of you to say! ♥ I just went with what I felt and sometimes I did a card, felt meh so stopped. Other times I did 10+ at one sitting because I managed to catch the rhythm.
What a great idea! I like this a lot!

Wow you're a brave woman! I would have messed my deck up 😅 You've done such a great job! I particularly like Strength, Justice, Temperance, Sun,Judgement, 9 of Cups, 8 of Wands and both 3 of Swords! I also love the more simplistic approach you took for the Pentacles as it really draws your attention to what matters on these cards. You've put so much thought into this! By the way, if the guidebook comes in French, email it to me, I can translate it into English for you, not a problem 😊

Hope it'll change things for you and if you color it, let me know! Would love to see!
I love this deck. I haven't colored it because I suck at that kind of thing. Your colored copy looks wonderful. I really like the Court Cups, all that blue-green looked gorgeous. The cards where you just had touches of color were cool too, bringing attention to just one or maybe two elements and leaving the rest. The whole deck is beautiful, Orsi. Thanks for sharing it. I haven't thrown any cards yet to see if our birthday sinus-hellscapes are connected. lol It's weird though. It's still early here, I'll give it a shot tonight and see what I get.

Oh, interesting you like my least favorite court cards. :D Thank you for watching! ♥ Oh right, need to do that too, will do once alone and in the dark lol Especially since I'm finishing the round of antibiotics I was prescribed tomorrow and it didn't approve massively. :/
💕😺🍿 Ooooh, I love what you did! Beautiful minimalistic approach. Choosing the colors makes the deck so personal. I purchased two copies with this in mind too, but have put it off...thank you for inspiring and reminding!

Ahhhhh! Omg Orsi I love this walk through because I was thinking of doing the exact same thing!! Buying this deck and putting some color in it. My plan was sticking with a monochromatic vibe, so I thought I’d choose one color (or two at most) for the whole deck. I think your coloring came out great! the emperor was my favorite actually! The alcohol markers were a great idea, I was wondering what to use. Did you go straight in with the markers directly on the card?

Oh awesome! Let me know if you post your version somewhere, I'd love to see! And yes, I just went in and coloured without much planning. 😅
If you don’t mind me asking what did you use to color? Colored pencils or markers?
@dragorsi
Жыл бұрын
I used a cheap brand of alcoholic markers. Not sure if pencil would stick to the paper since it's quite shiny. :)

@@dragorsi do you think crayola markers will do? What brand did you use?
@dragorsi
Жыл бұрын
Mines are a cheap Chinese brand, I think I mentioned them in the video but if not, any alcoholic marker would do. Not sure about crayola, aren't those water based? I think they would rub off too easily.
I like your nails so much!

Firstly, I appreciate your color choices, which really make the cards pop. The Temperance card is perfection, imo. 🙂 Secondly-an Arthurian deck with Ana Tourian’s art? WHAT?! I don’t care if it’s French, I MUST have it! 😍 Do you have any info on when/where it will be available?
@dragorsi

I know right? Ana posts updates, interestingly one of the recent ones was the 3 of Wands, on her insta and I follow the creator too so I know it'll be a french deck but nothing more. I'll let you know as soon as I see something!
I love how these turned out!! Exactly what type of markers did you use? I've been wanting to do this to my deck! Thanks for sharing!

Thank you! I used a cheap alcoholic marker, unfortunately that's the only type that works on this type of card stock.
Beleza que seu cérebro funcione de forma diferente, mas acho que estragou o deck.
