He's like the most genuine, honest person I've seen an interview of. Confident but very down to Earth.

Margaret J. L. NICOLAS Thats pretty accurate after seeing the film.
Hope he gets time off after this promotion tour... He must have given HUNDREDS of interviews 😜 Amazing how he keeps listening and giving deep, honest answers... and some really good ones, to unexpected questions.

Seriously!! They gave Madden a break (granted, he’s got a film to film in London) but no rest for Taron :(

Like actress Naomi Watts he lived as a youngster in the small Welsh town Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch
Such a cool interview by Lyndsey. There's this deep, warm, real, honest, candid, wearing his heart on his sleeve quality to Taron, a sensitivity and understanding of human nature, i hope he never loses that. He definitely picked the right career, i also hope he releases at least a single song tho lol, he's just lovely and i wish him the best with this movie and his future, i'm definitely a fan
I grew up during the 70s and 80s and the statement from Taron talking about the movie star died with the Internet, made me so freakin proud to hear him say that. That statement alone is absolutely true! And also when he was talking about a time when legends happened and the fact that we no longer have legends in the industry..... Absolutely true!!
He seems like such a genuine nice guy
Bless him he seems so tired :(

Salma Adawi I have seen a few interview of him or a few of them and it must take it's toll.
After I finished watching Rocketman I began a marathon of watching both Traon and Richard movies & TV Shows so that tells you how amazing both actors are!!!!
I saw Taron in the kingsman and said to myself... the kid is gonna BLOW. UP. I was instantly obsessed. after Robinhood, I was so happy to see him get this opportunity
I really like him he's so nice and Humble person and his is really passionate about this Film .
Lindsey does a very fine interview. I've long loved her style. Taron seemed to appreciate a bit better framing for some pedestrian questions and some more unique questions that allowed him to express himself. A wonderful watch.
He seems tired...I don’t blame him he has done a lot of press!

I just dont get why people online (message boards and chat) are always making comments about ppl seeming tired or looking tired? I feel its an insult
Taron is a true LEGEND in a time when people just want fame from the internet. He is a true movie star. I could even put him in the group of actors like Firth and Leo, Richard Maddon!! If he doesn't get an Oscar nomination or a GG or SAG something is truly wrong!!!
Taron, could you please consider recording an album? I would buy it. Hehe And I hope you win a lot of prizes, you were AMAZING in the movie. What a talent!
I wanna see him do a Hot Ones interview just so he can get a break from the humdrum, run of the mill interviews. And not necessarily soon, he deserves some time off. Such an amazing soul.
I watched it and real honestly watching him you forgot you watched an actor and hè became Elton. Hè did awesome.
Such a gracious kind gentleman. Handsome & well spoken. Class act all the way. Rocketman was absolutely amazing!!!
Aw I want him to make an album
I admire him so much, it is lovely to hear him in interviews, besides everything else. Completely lovable
Taron is an amazing actor. I’ve loved him in everything I’ve seen and can’t wait to see this film.
this is probably the best interview he has done for this film, great questions and dynamic.

Im glad too. They dove into interesting topics like the themes and greater movie trends. Not just what's your favorite costume lol hes probably so tired of that one
TRAON YOU ARE A LEGEND!!! I know he is filming Sing 2 at the moment so his Singing life isn't over yet!! But just like everyone said i hope he gets time off ... take care sweetie!! And yes I am on the GG & Oscar train for this movie!!💗
Great interview! This interviewer was very cool and asked great questions, leaving plenty of space for Taron to talk. He's such a humble, thoughtful man. Also, I love that sparkle jacket!
the fact that he said “throwing shade”
Being a long time fan of Elton John, I enjoyed taron’s acting l love him in the kingsman. I enjoyed rocket man
I just watched the movie tonight! So good, very sad childhood, Entertaining, love the musical bit. This was a good interview.
Your a legend, Taron Egerton! 😍🙌🏻
I'm glad this movie distracted everyone from the mess that was robin hood, he didn't deserve his career to be compromised by that

I love Taron💯💯🎉❤❤
He said "throwing shade" lmao
This is one of my favourite interviews. I think she tried to be more creative with her questions. I used to do radio interviews for bands and I hated repeating the same questions so I had mental rule if possible ” Dont repeat questions”. Likes she is doing she is listening. Rocket Man is better for depth and he sings which shocked me. Why they didn't go down that route with Rhapsody I find very strange.
This movie was a job so many people evolved. But unfortunately, everything in the life, just one was consagrated. I hope that great actor keep his head in the right place and Don't loose it.
He’s does look very tired you would be to talking a lot of people and talking about the same thing over and over again he’s a legend keep up good work 😀😃😀
i will do everything to be happy

Sadly, those Oscar predictions were dashed...as the Academy, for some stupid reason, overlooked ROCKETMAN, and there were NO nominations for Taron, nor the film; only minor nomination for BEST SONG (I'm Going to Love Me, Again), which is NOT in the film, nor sung by Taron. Elton sings it over the film's closing credits.

I know, it must be so hard not to get snappy or sarcastic or irritated. At times journos can ask really daft questions that would be very testing to try and respond to, no wonder "stars" skit out at times and lose their cool - though this one hasn't been, her questions have been pretty measured.

Kind of a boring interview, which dragged on. The interviewer did not conduct it very well - asking too many obvious questions and putting the subject on the spot with "Oscar buzz" and "putting out your own music album". Feel a bit sorry for Mr. Egerton, but he was gracious and tolerant.

Dee Power Taron seems tired as well, so maybe that’s part of it.
😂
How are you babe?
Shock. Horror. Nobody's perfect. Not even parents. We get the message about accepting people for who they are yet parents are supposed to be perfect it seems. It was the 1950s. Children were not the centre of the universe but mini adults in the making. I think nowadays we sentimentalise childhood too much. Not hugging your child is tantamount to child abuse in some people's eyes. In the 1950s people were grateful to have survived the war. I doubt sentimentality was as high as practicalities in those days.
sorry
i dont do anything bad
Straight people get asked about sex scenes as well just so you know... People love talking about sex
It just seems like he's acting all the time , even when just answering questions it pisses me off
