I agree. Me and my friends who are all 1000+ much prefer PvE because it solves the major issue - cheating. We currently enjoy it a lot. Hope tarkov can fix the cheating issues.

SPT is leagues ahead of tarkov official PVE. Tarkov PVE needs roaming PMCs, scavs that actually aggro AI PMCs, and AI to be better than something you cheese with corner peeks because otherwise they 360 no scope you in the jaw

Tarkov pve re-enable me to play Tarkov again. With more and more patches my pc struggled more and more. I lost my confidence in pvp due to my lack of skill and then my declining pc performances putting me at a huge disadvantage. But pve brought life of Tarkov back to me and im starting to feel the courage to play pvp again soon.

PvE has been around a long time it’s called SPT and it has mods , should play that instead ( COOP mod too )

as a 200 hour player i’ve found it nice to be able to learn maps, mechanics, quest locations and loot spawns/key rooms without being shit on by more experienced players

Not like learning the map in offline stops you from getting shit on online if anything it gives you a false sense of what happens on the map cause the pmc spawns in pve aren't the same and if your gonna die In eft it's more then likely within the first 5 mins of raid. Good to learn the map but won't stop you from getting shit on comes with time

Its just more fun for me personally, i dont abuse mega loot runs, or repeat the same high value loot run every game, im just playing the game, not getting killed by extract campers, no cheaters looting all the good stuff before you even get close, its just a very fun chill experience love it.

I can’t chill the hell out when I play pve but at the same time I’m getting two tapped by the AI Pmc’s(literally just raiders)

I’ve spawned into gigachads and also had ridiculous ez fights. Been walking and get randomly sniped. I’d say it’s fairly close to the original experience 😂

lvl 29 in pve and its been fun for some one who doesnt have the time to grind pvp, ive played throught out 2 wipes and speed running quests and gaining more knowledge from pve. i wsh they add questing bots and roaming pmc too, a lot of improvemts

Just started today, and found out that AI pmc's don't attack the factory boss for some reason. also found an AI PMC standing next to a scav and not shooting it.

the ai faction is still a thing but because the pmc's are just rogue ai they let scavs get abnormally close to them and scavs wont attack rogues either unless shot first

It's honestly quite rare for the AI PMC's and Scav's to actually fight, as someone else said the PMC's coding is copied from the Rogue characters and they slap a dog tag and a random player name on it and call it a day. There have been instances where scav and pmc will shoot each other but it's definitely quite rare, I was messing round as a scav on reserve yesterday in pve and ran into a 3 stack, I engaged one and heard several shots from outside GPU building ended up killing two then cleared the building and found a 3rd one dead on the first floor staircase when I checked his tag it was a scav that had killed him. Also the same applies to bosses, but I've personally NEVER seen a boss and a PMC fight, I ran into sawmill and Shturman was there with 2 guards and there were 2 pmcs all just hanging out or something idk lol

Tarkov PVE is the only game mode I play anymore, and I absolutely love it!! I work 40+ hours a week, and I can't invest the kind of time streamers and Chads do in order to compete. And dont get me started on the cheaters!

The PMCs ai is basically equivalent to rogue night ai. They’ll spot you from about 50m I would say but if you’re quick you’ll be able to get them before they’re first shot. The biggest current issue in my opinion is that the PMCs don’t roam around the map nor do they shoot at scavs.

This is why SPT with FIKA coop mod is great. Cuz u can get SAIN which makes the AI nearly indistinguishable from humans. Add in looting bots which makes bots loot then exfil and questing bots which does similar and it's very lifelike

PVE mode is PVE mode. The PMC’s arent meant to resemble players but they are meant to resemble PMC’s the way Battlestate games wants to present them. Which is probably going to lineup with how the lore of game is setup as well as the Tarkov mini film series.

Why i modded it, in SP tarkov I made it where I saturated the map with 3-4 times the amount of players which makes it so that everyone is fighting and forces the AI to move alot. Plus we can get them to do questing so some AI will have the room key and use it. Very good stuff

I’m sorta glad about the new update. The ai got reworked heavily and act a lot more realistic. But yeah, it’s basically just fighting raiders all the time on every map except they have pmc voicelines

Scav in PvE is just another PMC run but as scav with scav spawns. It's the whole raid and same loot. Currently they're working on PMC AI. Eventually they'll fight others, roam around, and hopefully take out sniper scavs.

Me and my friends play on our own Tarkov server with mods that help improve performance, AI improvement for scavs and PMC actually do quests and loot. I think its alot better than Nikitas version

They need to work on the pmc’s in pve They need to path through the map and push the player when engaged. Right now the predictable ai is boring and makes some of the pmc quests difficult to compete due to rng

PVE changes the dynamic of the game while keeping the core gameplay. Sure it’s technically easier as the variables people add are gone but not everyone plays for that

I hate to be that guy but SPT has several large mods that specifically target those shortcomings to make the raid really feel like a live server

They should really get the people behind SPT to help them out with the AI in PVE mode on tarkov. In SPT you can install a mod that makes PMC AI take realistic player routes to loot and quest, plus they actually do pick up loose loot, unlike in PVE. Idk SPT is really cool, and has as many features as you want to add to it.

They're trying to pull the SPT crowd back into the game.

Idk why they already prove that they are too pussy to play real eft. Pve isn't about fun or easy or hard. Its that fact in pvp you can't. Predict anything ai are nothing but predictable and you have no sense of loss as insurance comes back 100% of the time. If yall wanted to be men you'd accept losing.

I've owned this game for a couple years now and this pve mode is the only time I've ever been above level 15. Ive been able to get my boys back together and we're all level 30-42 and we grt to chill and game

I have seen PMC's and Scavs right next to each other on multiple occasions. That shouldn't be. The PMC's extract now so they should be fighting too, and I don't just mean with me.

I love pve, but the AI PMCs should move more around the map. Just use the goons model on AI PMCs on constant hunt mode or something to make it organic. Completed all of tarkov schooter on customs from directors to RUAF Roadblock.

BSG should take notes from SPT modders. Expand the nav mesh, looting bots, weapons and gear match the level of the AI PMC, scav runs can be treated like live scav runs. SPT is far ahead as far as QOL and gameplay goes for single player. lol

I'd like PVE pics to loot and move from spawn point to an extract. It's a wish I know we'll never see it but we can wish

PvE mode just lets me play without having to be super careful about people who have 20x the amount of hours in the game as me and also I’m pretty certain to use the difficulty system on the bots to make some harder than others because sometimes I’ll verse a brain dead pmc then the next is super aggressive and has much better aim and awareness using nades

They open doors and loot shit at dorms. Idk if they get keys or not but thatd be cool to simulate pmcs using keys.

PvE pmc’s don’t engage with scav bosses either (from what I’ve seen) unfortunate

I just wish they make Russia 2028, it was supposed to be more like Stalker but with Tarkovs gameplay

apart from avoiding cheaters and learning the side quests pve is a bit shit imo, kinda coulda focused all the time and effort they put into making pve mode into fixing the actual game..

In some maps on PvE you also get more time in the raid as Scav than you do as a PMC. I think Customs and GZ are this way by just 2-3 minutes?

Pve mode is traaaash, play SPT instead if you want solo gameplay. The mods changes everything he said in the video. You can play with as many mods as you want, every one of em different and fun. Questing bots, new mechanics, new traders, funny mods,... the list goes on

The PMCs just have the rogue AI, it would seem.

PvE mode stinks - sometimes PMC shoot scavs,sometimes they band together to fuck you over....

PVE is a joke SPT is goated though, the modding community is amazing

Actually make sense if you’ve achieved 5k hours, but trying to understand ai is a whole new level on its own.

PvE does not have any of the issues that PvP has. Mainly cheaters, but also the desync issues. If they‘d finally figure out how to make the AI work, it would be great. They‘ve made AI scavs and PMCs fight each other finally. But bosses are still broken, Tagila will literally not attack anything except you as a player.

If you listen closely when pmc bots fight they will say friendly down right after dropping scavs??? Why r they team killing lmao.

Tarkov is one of the only games that can get away with selling the exact same game twice. It's like buying a cheese burger for $10 and then being offered a regular burger for $30. I don't get the people who have spend $200 on this crap. Even $50 is ridiculous for basically the same game just with tweaked A.I and no PMC's

I think PVE is shit, none of the risk reward and awful AI replacing players. What I would have liked is SPT with private servers where small communities form to play a better version of Tarkov adjusted and moderated for that specific server.

to all the people saying pve mode is easy. download spt with sain, swag and donuts. put the difficulty to insane and then say its easy. with those mods the bots play better than 80% of tarkov players. i hate pvp tarkov as you dont really need skill to kill someone, you just need to know the map. and even when you know the map, the rng elements of server lagg, desync, silent cheaters, bugs, bullets that does not count even when you see blood, movement bug abusers and etc. il rather play spt or the fika mod, instead of this shit people call a game.

I don't get it... Only explanation I have is players with low skill who still wanna play. Which is fine I guess. Sorta dilutes online numbers a little bit, but whatever...

With a full proper ai overhaul, this could make the perfect game for me. Having a TON of fun with PVE so far though, I gave up on Tarkov back in covid after playing it before anyone knew it existed.
