This is why people argue FPS games should always have a killcam. you'd be able to tell right away if he's a cheater.

@@merk8628 not really, especially when you get shot in the head from over 350 m off a minute and a half into the match. it would just take lift the camera and then 2 circles and a line. he shot from here and hit you. a good 80% of the time you could tell if they were cheating right away, most cheaters are not subtle.

@@lokitakahashi3042 but that’s such a small instance, and that’s obvious he’s cheating. Report him and have the game devs look at him. I would hate to have a good spot or game ruined because they know exactly where I am, that’s not the type of game tarkov is anyways.

Yeah, if they are gonna add a kill cam they need to add it so you can only watch it after the match and your teammates died or extracted.

Not a kill cam but a mode where once the raid ends (or all players escape) you can watch the whole raid and spectate different people, thus being able to distinguish cheaters far easier without ruining the flow of the game

The idea I came up with was after being killed you can in the death screen request a killcam, then you get a message from somebody like peacekeeper or mechanic saying they got a guy pulling data or files. And an hour after, you'd get it in your messages with name and time stamp, this would keep people from from using it to their advantage since currently no raid lasts longer than an hour, and it would be a lore friendly system.

Make killcams available for after the raid ends, like a match history.. killcam would be bad because it shows enemy squad positions potentially if shown after the kill. But if you could go back and look at killcam once the raid has ended you could submit the clip then for someone to confirm review and ban. Best of both worlds. Not to mention in 95%+ of the time where they're not cheating you can learn what you did wrong easier too.

This wipe I have seen flashlights searching for us through walls and ceiling’s and people speed sprinting across the full map. Plus the fact you always seem to get the one guy who knows exactly where you are. I once tried to do the dehydration task on interchange after my team had been killed, i crept up into the container (on top of the container) outside of oli. I lay there for 5 minutes making no sound whatsoever (using a propitol to heal) when a guy randomly runs up the containers at the speed of light, peeks the corner and pops me in the head before I could even get up off of the floor. Sometimes it’s just blatant as fuck and they don’t care

This video is 30 FPS, the enemy was visible for 18 frames, so 0.6 seconds between the first frame of his backpack popping out of the fence and the death of the player. Since we know that in this game the bullets come out of the actual guns and not player heads (like in Call of Duty for example), we can even cut that down to only 15 frames, 500ms between the appearance of the gun and the player's death. Super fast if you ask me (and that was a headshot too).

Dude proceeded to explain to his buddies in voip “I just know there’s someone in this super obscure out of the way spot because why wouldn’t there be” proceedes to peak each of us in our respective spots in a 5 second span killing our fourth through a ricochet off the wall. @@raoul592 I have about 3000 hours in each game, and Tarkov was significantly worse as far as rage goes for me anyway. I so rarely was online raided, and even when I was it was always really just kind of fun because you know you're screwed in most cases as they come with overwhelming numbers if they're doing online raiding. Rust was always just login disappointment. Like oh yay another guy destroyed my stuff while I was offline... Just makes me roll my eyes, not rage. Tarkov though, jesus christ.

I've been playing online games for years and years. It always cracks me up when you start seeing the cheating roll in, and it happens in pretty much every FPS eventually, you get all the fanboys trying to flame you that "you can't cheat in this game" or "git gud" or some other lame reason to try and explain away what is happening. Truth is, there is no anti cheat software that can prevent hackers, they always find a way. Play these games when they are released until the hacking gets bad then move on, it's really the only thing you can do.
