Really cool stuff. How does one get into bulding embedded stuff like this? Should I just get a Raspberry PI and play with it? Thkanks

Thanks! Yeah, you can't go wrong with Raspberry Pi or Arduino. How to get into embedded stuff? I'd say try to think of some fun idea you really want to implement. If it feels like homework you'll never stick with it. Then watch a few tutorials on KZread and get started. :)

Sorry but no. It's too much of a hassle, so I decided to keep it.

Hey, that's great! Did you print those on your Prusa without an enclosure?

  • @dejanristic1915

Yes, on the Prusa. But no enclosure needed. Turnes out it's very easy to print with.

@@dejanristic1915 I have an i3 mk3s+. My main issue comes with loading, it has a lot of trouble getting past the filament gears and down into the hot end. Then I have to keep a good eye on the printer or there's a chance the spool will be too heavy, put tension on the filament, and make it start to wrap around the filament gears. When it does print well it's pretty impressive, it's just mainly the setup that is the most frustrating.

@@eyemmateo I have the exact same model printer. I must say I have very seldom had any problem loading the filament. Have you tried adjusting the extruder gear tensioning screw? Maybe too tight or too loose? According to prusa the end of the screw is supposed to protrude about 0.5 mm to 1 mm past the nut on the extruder gear door. I have occationally had issues with the gears starting to grind the filament during printing. Then I started printing att lower speeds, and that seemed to have fixed the problem. But it could also be that your particular TPU filament is just problematic. Might be worth trying out a different brand if everything else fails.
