Everything is a matter of perception. Tough experiences growing up help shape and mold us into resilient adults. I love how you embrace those experiences and find the “sunny” part of all of it. I agree wholeheartedly…rise up and find the good in every aspect of your past and present and choose to use those life lessons as a method of training yourself to take what’s good and do something amazing with it!

Crying over here. I’ve heard you tell some of your story before but hearing it in this capacity really wrecked me. Truly incredible to hear your journey to joy. So inspiring. 💕 love the solo-cast btw. Would love to see more of them!

I am sitting here in tears watching your video. Our stories are very similar in many ways. As a mom of 4 who used to be very Mormon and a people pleaser who came from a mentally unstable mother and home....I am trying to heal a lot of things and my body is broken and I'm trying to focus on healing. Thank you so much for opening up and sharing your story. I am at the very beginning of trying to lift weights and eating healthier. I am 34 and it's time for change. It's time for me to listen to my body. You are truly an inspiration and I think God has led me to you. Thank you!

I love you so much, Tara! My mom’s alcoholism has been the thorn in my side for years. I don’t have a lot of motivating people in my immediate circle, but I love finding people like you online who make me feel like I can reconfigure. I’m going to go running today, even though all I want to do is sit in bed and cry.

You are amazing Tara. Thank you so much for sharing your journey. Listening to this has motivated me to make some necessary changes that I’ve been putting off for far too long. One of my favorite takeaways from this (there are so many takeaways) is to listen to your “inner” voice and trust the process when you do.
