    Very nice! What was over all length and what was the section lengths on the first cord? Tapered rope! Never realized it could be done. Thank you.

    The overall length is about 3 meters +cracker started with 4 meter yarns.

    Great video. Thanks. At 5:10 in the video you mention soft and hard lays. Do you have a video explaining how to make soft vs hard laid ropes?

    Excellent work. Any indication on thread consumption or maybe a hint at the final weight of the whip to work out the requirements for one piece?

    That all depends but for this one I used about 200 meters of Nm 0.6 yarn. The total weight about 350g.

    @@mikkosnellman Thank you, i generally do not have a big stock of rope or thread or a lot of storage and need to procure for a project. This helps a lot.

    That would be shellac and pine tar.

    The yarn can be hard to find on retail. Ask around from other ropemakers near you.

    Did not learn how to make a bullwhip, I don't have any of the tools you used nor did you tell where to get the tools. This just shows how you make a bullwhip.
