I put a couple of inserts into the back mag shingles, just tucked in the tabs and slipped the inserts over them, it seems to work pretty well so far.

I tried with this one - should have mentioned that in the video 😅 Didn't work so well. What inserts are you using? That would be my preference.

@@apamburn honestly, just some cheapies from amazon, not even sure what the rip off of it is, whichever one has the velcro on one side, light grey color.

@@seventhstone I'll have to look them up. This insert fits well in the shingles, but the p mags are VERY tight in them. I spent some time putting in and removing them to try to loosen them up but no dice. I was considering filing down the retention on the insert when I decided to experiment with the pouch instead. I like it as a sort of a fast mag pouch. If I were to be sure I'd keep a mag in that pouch all the time, I'd switch to a USMC fast mag pouch - which is an excellent pouch, if you haven't played with them. But I want it to be kind of general purpose. Anyways, you've made me want to go back to the drawing board now so I'll probably try to get this to work in a TAP mag pouch again 😂

@@DefiantTacticalTn I'll have to post a few videos of my chest rig experiments, unfortunately i've not much time or room to go out and use them much, but maybe someone that goes out and plays more can pick up a random bit of nonsense i whip up.

ya its just not a chest rig its like "LBE" belt web kit thing idk the right name but is not a chest rig

I just call it a belly rig 😂 I suspect it will ultimately be kind of short-lived as we pivot back to traditional LBE style rigs
