Brilliant! Walking on the pillars is definitely cool! In the West people can hardly walk on two feet for more than 100 meters, then they need a car.

I feel honored to be able to access to Daoists and ancient Wisdom. This is an important opportunity to grow and develop. Thankyou. On the opposite way I manifest my feelings of uncertainty or maybe it be sorrow, as I interpret this opening for the benefit of mankind to stop the escalation of destructiveness mankind is out doing in this present time and space. Excuse me if my words and feelings offend or cause troublesome to anyone or anything. Respect and Humbleness.

Hi- I'm glad you guys are also on this path- but there are at least 2 or 3 other teachers here in the U.S. holding authentic lineages in Baguazhang, Tai Chi, Qigong and Taoist meditation, Neigong and Shengong. Several lines are unbroken back to the Beijing Bagua School founded by Dong Hai Chuan and continuing through Cheng Ting Hua, Ma Gui, Liu Hung Chieh and Bai Hua. Before that the line goes back to Lao Tze and his many predecessors. There is also Eva Wong, Tom Bisio, Ken Gullette, the New York School of Tai Chi Chuan through Professor Cheng Man-Ching, also there are other students of Wang Shu Jin, and several accomplished Xingyi Quan people in Great Britain. So you are not alone.

They stopped practicing because they were killed in the Boxer Rebellion and later in Mao's Cultural Revolution where so many ancient artifacts were destroyed including the humiliation and murder of many great masters which is why a few escaped to Taiwan to carry on. As in all of history more has been lost (which means it was discovered and created at one time) thru cataclysm and deliberate destruction than still exists. While so many work desperately to preserve the past by recovering and translating ancient books, others work fanatically to destroy those books. Witness the recent destruction of the great Buddha statues in Afghanistan and the deliberate destruction of priceless, irreplaceable museum artifacts, statuary, paintings, archeological finds, and records, etc. And the recent deliberate destruction of statues in the west. While they offer nothing of value to replace what they have destroyed. It's a crime against humanity yet civilized people still think they can reason with brutes and barbarians and convert them to valuing the past and becoming civilized. Fools. Like a gazelle trying to reason with a lion.

You delude yourself if you think that Taiwan was the only recipient of the Ancient Virtue or that Mao's cultural revolution wiped it all out. Equating this with the destruction of the Buddha statues is ridiculous. That was staged by nefarious interests in the West. The Boxer Rebellion was against the Western imperialists - who sought to destroy Chinese culture by addicting the populace to opium. The British destroyed or stole priceless artifacts too, especially when they (we) destroyed the Summer Palace. Stop your ignorant and selective ranting...Chinese civilization has survived, despite the attacks and the propaganda.. Will 'the West's???....

There are more than 50,000 Daoists in the United States alone, mostly in New York, California and I just remembered John Painter in Dallas. I'm thinking 1-2 million in China at least. Also some in Great Britain, Germany, Spain and Greece.
