Tanya is my inspiration. She is amazing, and sharing her story has helped me so much deal with my ADHD by self-medicating❤

I'm 47 and your story made me cry so much, I resonate with so many things you describe. The relief of being able to understand key moments and experiences in my life that I have never left behind; either negative or positive, is immense. No formal diagnosis, but having suspected my son has ADHD for some time now, everything is starting to make sense.

Badly explained. Hypoeractivity does not need to be present for a diagnosis to be made. Attention deficit can be present without hyperactivity. Might ADHD lead to ME (CFS) or even Parkinsons? Some recent research suggests maybe.

Just to clarify what Tanya said about hyperactivity: it was others who had the stereotypical idea of what ADHD is (and what it looks like) who were doubting her diagnosis, as they couldn't see what the visible evidence they were expecting to see. Tanya was explaining that she *does* have hyperactivity, but that it's an inner noise in her head. Saying that, her fast speech, many thoughts firing at once and her moving around was fairly indicative of it. But agree that, going by DSM-5, you don't need to have any symptoms of hyperactivity to still have ADHD. As to 'badly explained': I suppose that this was an interview (not a documentary, as they both referred to), so loads of stuff about ADHD wasn't explained.

I am sorry to hear you are not well Tanya. Do you pray to God (Jesus Christ) !!! You and your family are in my prayers - believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and those shall be saved - just talk to God you don’t need to go in a special building to talk to Him. The book of Joshua in the old Testament in chapter 1 verse eight says you should meditate on God’s words not on nothing. Read the 23rd Psalm in the old Testament and think about it. God bless you and your family - Bill - UK🙏🙏🙏
