Double tankbusters happen, where two people from the top of aggro table get a buster on them. That is also why off tank should turn on his stance around 30 s - 1 min into the fight.

@@84elmer Actually that's only for certain fights, they have most bosses set to target tanks and THEN aggro when 1 or both tanks are dead.

Paladin has 34 skills/abilities and controller player only get 32 skill buttons. I can eliminate a few niche things like shield bash or interject if the content doesn't need it, but that still leaves me needing a button for potions. Cover is just too situational to keep.

Dark Knights and Gunbreakers can use TBN and Heart of Corundum respectively on allies as well.

This happened because Estinien let the merchants get to him with bad Black Friday deals and almost took more out of the scions savings. Meteor had to let it happen.

When I did the trial, Estinien got the stack marker. He jumped to the next add at the last second. He did not survive.

The use of Fortune's theme was absolutely perfect.

Ive been on SMN and had this happen and his face as he looks up in disbelief is a whole ass mood

I love how Estinien just accepts his fate and then the iron will at the end to add insult to injury.

Fortune’s theme from MGS2 was the cherry on top here.

Estinien's face just screams "I'm not mad, just really REALLY disappointed"

XD god i am in fucking tears!!!!!! Literally had this happen the other day where I was originally going to be an off tank...and the main tank forgot his stance, he ran in, we all told him stance....and he didn't realize until a dps got slapped by his tank buster XD Fucking love this. (remember kids...its ok to make sure your tank has their stance on...lol)

Don't forget, even if you're off tank. You should still have tank stance on so that if the main tank dies, this video doesn't happen.

This happened to me once, the first time I got into a trial where the boss did two tank busters at a time. Til then I thought only the MT needed to have the stance on lol (I was going through Stormblood for the first time.) A poor Red Mage who was being a true MVP got the marker and I saw in a panic how the MT used her Mitigation and the mage just stood there accepting his fate. I FELT SO BAD LOL

My Static SAM and I during E12S prog, but with considerably less cursing.

In my run of this fight, Estinien actually caused a wipe by jumping away with the stack marker during the crystal phase. The other NPCs tried to chase him, including both healers and Alisaie, only to die because not everyone could get there in time. No one else could rez, so I had to reset it.

Alisaie did that when I did the fight yesterday. Except she only took out one healer. Urianger survived to rez people. Managed to beat the fight despite that fuck-up.

The eyes glancing down at his bar for the stance choked me out.

The funny thing about it is that a DRG would definitally be able to survive a tankbuster if they got a mitigation or two on to them.

This actually happened to me in one of the Alexander fights, except to another Tank. I was supposed to attract the attack, but I didn't know because I was new to Tanking.

The Iron Will at the end sent me “To the Edge” XD

I love how Estinien managed to forgive Meteor in such a short span. Meteor should be sitting next to Depressed WHM Girl after that one.

Me as a SMN in P11s in the first 10 seconds of the fight. Learnt very quick to run into the wall before it killed me so it becomes 'Who is gonna die now' roulette to force a reset

Just for anyone who's curious I tried doing this to see what actually happens started the fight and didn't turn on tank stance Thancred assumes that you intend on tanking regardless whether you have tank stance on or not and will never turn his own on even if you don't turn it on either the entire fight. However, he will always have either top enmity or be second top (after you) idk if he's provoking Hydaelyn or what, but that's what will happen However, since he assumes you're tanking (regardless of what actually is happening), he will be standing together with the rest of the party. That means. Hydaelyn's tankbusters, both the cleave and the stack buster, will catch everyone nearby if she targets Thancred.

Died as he lived like a True Dragoon

When you see an ally with a tankbuster, but don't use the Cover ability because it costs resource which you don't have at the moment. That, or it's funny as hell to watch them die.

As someone that started maining gunbreaker in end walker, I felt this in my soul 😅

I can't tell you how many times this has happened to me during savage runs. Being high on the aggro list is a dangerous job when the tank is like our main guy here lol.
