Today we'll be touring the resort and the activities you can do. The day trip package we booked had Quad Biking and Dolphin Feeding included and we ended up booking the Helicopter Ride, Segway and did a few of the free things to do there too. I hope you like it!
I've stayed at Tangalooma resort several times over the year and it's always a brilliant day trip from Brisbane, or a longer stay at the resort.
Thanks for your support in watching todays video and don't forget to subscribe.

    Hey Chris! Morton island looks like an awesome getaway! It is really smart of the resort to put in a day use rest area, it adds so much value for those who aren’t staying multiple days. The helicopter and quad tours look like so much fun! Ooh, the night feeding of the dolphins! I’ve never seen that anywhere else!

    Hey Guys, thanks for stopping by - This is one of my favourite islands to visit, or definitely one of the easiest. Even in winter it can be a perfect island spot. The dolphins are very unique and I know of only one other place in Australia that they do it!

    The helicopter was a highlight and even though we were only in the air for 10 mins - it was worth it for such a nice day!

    Hiya Chris! Good to see some new clips. The views from the helicopter were fantastic...shame about the duration, but thanks for grabbing some footage. This resort seems fantastic, with a little bit for everyone. Super cool to view the Kookaburra and dolphin feeds. Sweet edit!

    Been heaps of news stuff in the last few months. Just put in in between the compilations..LOL. Both my two latest trips to Moreton island were amazing with the different experiences you could do, especially since they weren't far apart. I've stayed at this resort about 10 times over the years and so easy for me to get to... The island life so close to the big city. Thanks for watching Nate :)

    There is certainly a lot more involved when travelling with kids and probably couldn't fit in as much...but still possible. Glad I inspire you 😁 Thanks for watching

    This was such a different experience compared to the last episode. I think the dolphin experience would be the highlight for me (although the views from the helicopter were pretty amazing 😍) i really like that they are wild and staff ensure they are able to develop their hunting skills too.

    Ethical animal experiences are huge deal right now... they have been doing it for years and good to know they still follow strict rules. Tours always end with the dolphins but the days could end up completely different with everything to do. They do deals to stay the weekend too... I've taken advantage a few times 😂😂

    The wrecks are about 30 min oneway walk away from the resort and quad bikes. Depends how much time you have on the island.

    Hello, where is the whale watching tour from where the cruise boat jetty?

  • @AquariusTraveller

    @AquariusTraveller

    Most the Whale Watching tours leave from Gold Coast, Redcliffe and Sunshine Coast, but there is another one leaving Tangalooma Jetty for day trippers and hotel guests. You can catch the Boat from Holt street jetty, Arrive Tangalooma Resort and hang around the resort until the Whale Watching Cruise Leaves and then you catch the Ferry back. I think this is more suited to Resort guests, so if you just wanted a Whale tour from Brisbane, then I would leave from Redcliffe.

    Does that get into portside ? What time are you docking or allowed to get off? Is there a cut off to get back on the boat in the afternoon?

    @@AquariusTraveller the offshore activities are booked through carnival cruise. I think we are doing the 9.30 kayaking. I’m guessing it it will dock at the jetty. Not sure what cut off time is
