    Both Tan and Gukesh come from either side of the age spectrum and both have shown that age doesn’t matter in these important tournaments in chess - if you set your mind to it you can win whether you are in your teens or your 30s ❤👏👏👏✨

    Even Hou Yifan started coaching students at a young age. I was curious about how easy it is for women Chinese chess players to get sponsors given that chess is not very popular there. It is commendable how they still produce so many top-level players.

    China has women chess champion in 1991 by the name xei jun. She is the reason for the chess boom just like it was anand for India. And in China they have chess league or something that produce this competitive players.

    I wish our players also speak in their mother tongue rather than English wherever they go to play. I wished for Humpy or Vaishali to win but they peaked quite late. A India vs China on both sections of the World Championship would have been epic!!

    She is extraordinary, but facing Ju Wenjun won't be easy. She is far stronger than most chess players. Her peek was 2604 absolute elite regardless of gender. Tan Zhongy peek is 2530. Ju Wenjun deep was the product of the pandemic.
