Possibly because environmental destruction is despised by many people, nature does not need these Villas, people like Jacob exploit nature to enrich themselves. I find that only despicable!

Loving these villas !!! Can't wait to see the finish product ;) Do you just build homes/villas in Indonesia or do you also build in other countries?

Hey Mat, please get in touch with our sales team to know more about specific prices: tampahhills.com/contact-us/ you can see Land prices and average construction prices on our website. We love dogs too! We don't have full information atm on travelling with dogs, but there are plenty of information on the topic online, and experts to assist and advise.

Serious question to the Tampah Team, which is doing a fantastic job! Are there any plans to lower the booking prices? The prices I see are much more for "wealthy" than for "normal" people. Are the prices that high because you are just starting to open Tampah for visitors and need the income back fast that you invested? Or are those "normal" prices for such location and villa rooms? Comparing with Bali Villas for example. I would love to book at Tampah for a vacation, but for those prices it's not affordable.

It seems like you can only rent out the villas as a whole, which makes sense. At least prices are the same whether you stay alone or in a group of 8. If you can find enough friends to split the costs with, you don't need to be wealthy :) Not sure how Bali villas work though

If you rent a villa there, you are complicit in the destruction of the environment. In addition, you support the capitalist exploitation of the local people. Of the 1000 € per night that you have to pay, local people earn maybe 10 €, the rest ends up in the pockets of the owners of the villas and in Jakob's.

Why don’t you mind your own business @Neumann? I‘ve seen you hating around in the comments not once but a couple of times. Don’t like it, don’t look at it. Simple as that. Without the Indonesian government projects like this wouldn’t be possible. So why hate on Jakob? If he + his team didn’t start a project there, someone else would. Butthurt people like you seriously get on my nerves with your negative BS. Poor soul. Get well soon and try to find a hobby you keyboard warrior 🥲

@@los3119 Thank you for attacking me personally, factually you probably have no counter-argument, of course this is exploitation of people and nature and the argument, "if Jacob does not do it, someone else will" is just without morality . Thats the way u can "justify" every exploitation! My morality is another one.

to be honest... all the villas I saw until now are just ugly! all this concrete / stone everywhere... nothing to do with the beautiful natural houses of bali, lombok and the rest of indonesia there is so much land for each of the villas... where are the areas with grass to play and hangout? all the terraces and gardens are just covered in stone and concrete...why not more wooden flooring? The houses of the Seaside Community look way more interesting and local. The Villas are just trash that could be anywhere in the world where rich people are...
