How’s the job market, and cost of living in Tampa?

@@lennygarrison6836 job market is excellent and cost of living is on the rise rents have gone up a lot too many people moving in, I believe Tampa now is the #1 destination for people to move to and I don't blame them.
Tampa was one of the best trips I’ve been on and my flight was $36. it already looks so different in 2022. I also rode that trolley to the Aquarium and it was indeed free. Wish we had stuff like this where I live
I did a quiz online about where I should live in Florida(I know, cheesy), and Tampa was my answer. So, that's why I am here, to see what it's all about. I might choose this place when I move down there to Florida.
I literally just returned from a weekend trip in Tampa. We a great time and were able to hit many of the spots you have mentioned in your video. The St Patrick's Day parade in Ybor City was definitely a highlight! Can't wait to return and explore more.
The city of Tampa, situated on an inlet reaching far into the west coast of Florida, is the economic center of western Florida. Tampa is best known for its tourist attractions, especially Busch Gardens, where families get the thrill of an amusement park and the fun of a zoo all in one place.
As a Tampa native, I'm extremely proud of where Tampa has come over the past 30-40 years (especially the past 20 or so). It would help, though, if you, as a tour guide, would make yourself a little more familiar with the places you are showing in your videos. It's not rocket science andit doesn't require a lot of research to point out just a few extremely important things you totally missed or ignored, such as: 1) You had a couple of fairly long shots looking across the river from downtown toward the very historic University of Tampa, which was originally built as a world-class hotel in the 1890s by Henry Plant, who was responsible for bringing the railroad to Tampa. The hotel contained materials, furnishings, art and other designs from around the world, and during its 10 or so years as a hotel, hosted world leaders and celebrities, as well as Teddy Roosevelt and the Rough riders during the Spanish American War. It became the University of Tampa in the first half of the 20th century and still operates as a world class private university. 2) Harbour Island, along with Davis Island right next to it, was dredged up in the 1920s from a set of mud flats in the bay. Harbour Island served for years as a commercial/warehouse storage area, then in the 1980s was converted into a high-end residential community. 3) You barely skimmed over the plaque on the riverwalk that pointed out Tampa Bay (yes, the body of water, not the City, Tampa) as the birthplace of commercial aviation -- the first flight in history with a paying passenger that flew across the Bay from St. Pete to Tampa. That's a pretty significant bit of history! 4) Ybor City came about in the 1800s as a center for cigar manufacturing, attracting immigrants from Cuba, Italy, Germany and elsewhere, and for years was a center of travel between Tampa and Havana. In the 1950s it was a starting point for Fidel Castro's revolution against the Cuban dictator Batista and was where he initially raised funds for that revalution. In fact, there is a small plot of land in Ybor that the trolley goes right by, that, during that time, was presented as a gift to the Cuban government and is still owned by Cuba. 4) The Columbia restaurant that you quickly skimmed over is the oldest continuously operated restaurant in Florida (if not in the United States), and is the largest Spanish restaurant in the world! It has 15 rooms and takes up an entire city block. It is still owned and operated by the same family that opened it in 1905, The long and the short of all this is, if you're going to do a tourist video, make it worthwhile and something interesting for people to actually learn about the city.
Wow!! I’m so impressed. Looks just as nice as Miami from what I see. I would definitely live here.
Beautiful Tampa, this video is lovely 😍; I would love to move to Tampa, Florida. It's a lovely sunny 🌞 city with lots of interesting places to visit. I particularly love YBOR.

Great video of Tampa. Very well done sir!
Nice... lots to do. Beautiful and sunny. The downtown Tampa area is more preferable for me than Ybor, but good to see both.

Interesting~ as a local, I've never went to those spots the way you did! I'd love to do that with my friend next time when they come to visit!

Tampa Florida is a great city to visit
I just watched your Charlotte video and now this one. Thanks for helping me decide. It looks like the public transportation system might be friendlier in Tampa vs Charlotte. I will still visit both. However, it looks like I will visit Tampa first.
I love Ybor city.... It’s beautiful.., But now I’m on the west coast in the mountains I think I love the mountains more.. But people should take a trip To Tampa Bay....
Was just in Tampa late February and we did see some of the places you covered but we weren't there long enough so we're looking to come back later in the year for a week or so.
If you think st Patrick's day was busy...come back for Gasparilla 🙂
Downtown’s the favorite for me.
Ybor City 7th Ave seems like a combination of Bourbon St NOLA, Church St Orlando, and Calle Ocho Miami.

I really hope the city settles on it being more of a historical district focusing on residential, eateries, local shops, quaint bars etc. Not out of control nightlife like we see today. Let New Orleans enjoy their Bourbon St. This area deserves better.
Damn! With those pipes, you should be on the radio or doing voiceovers
I was born in tarpon springs i miss Tampa bay im moving back soon

In Tampa now but working 😔
FYI you don't need to mask up unless you really love masks. Exceptions are hospitals and some medical offices.
What about the damn 7-Eleven and 6 Mile Creek y'all don't know Tampa
wow! tampa is actually one of the worst places ive been to and ive been many times (family lives there). car got broken into twice in ybor, everything is overpriced, the beaches are dirty/crowded, bad drivers and terrible traffic. my excoworker that moved to riverview said she ended up extremely disappointed

As a local here are some rules: 1. Get out of Ybor before 3am. Trouble starts when the bars close. 2. Pinellas beaches aren't the cleanest. I haven't been to them in 25 years. Go to Bradenton Beach or Siesta Key in Sarasota. Free parking. 3. Traffic is bad. 4. You will get used to rude drivers but at least we're not Miami yet. 5. It's not cheap to live here. Yes that's a fact. 6. Since too many people are moving here expect 1 - 5 to get worse.

Trust me we are 100% good with who we are lol. Every Metropolitan city has good and bad areas and things that are not so nice. By and far, we are a fun town, we love having a good time and most people are reasonably friendly. Unfortunately, there are so many newcomers moving from other areas that bring their biases, problems and habits from other regions it tends to muddy things up. Tampa knows what Tampa's about.
It not even worth it.. lived here for 34 year just moved out. It horrible with traffic, beaches isn't that great anymore with constant red tide every year, less nature anymore... it sucks. But there alot of other fun stuff to do there tho like Ybor, aquarium, etc. But to live it not worth it but to visit yeah.
You're going anywhere but you have money for TOURISTIC activities and $$$$$$$$$$ ( LOW INCOME PEOPLE DON'T HAVE TOURISTIC ACTIVITIES. $ 7 MINIMUM JOBS 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

There's no fee for walking and he is just filming everyday people. You don't need money other than food to enjoy yourself in Tampa Bay

There's plenty to see and do without a lot of money! Riverwalk is free, tons of public parks and places to just go and hang out on a nice day. Lots of bay beaches that are free to visit and even park for free.
When you come back to the crypto scam
Tampa is a horrible place! Don't go there!
turning water ways green for st. patrick's day is a total shame and embarrassment . the disrespect/the foolishness . . the lack of self awareness and or the idiotic rationalizations . .
