That’s a nice little chassis! I bet a classic beetle body would look great on it!👌😎👍

I know next to nothing about Tamiiya but there is another channel I watch - Ampro Engineering & shapeways. he is all over the Tamiya RCs. through Shapeways he sells a lot of 3D printed upgrade components for that brand. he doesn't do any metal pieces but from the videos he puts out it looks to me like he is really knowledgeable about the Tamiya brand. like I said I know nothing about these RCs but he might be able to help.

That’s the bad part about this old stuff. There just isn’t any more out there.

The aluminum motor mount looks like a Tamiya hop-up part, but I'm not familiar with the other parts.

Can't find info on it either... But I know HPI and Thunder Tiger + MRE made nitro conversion kits for those. Sadly a bunch of info was vansished for good in 2015 or so when lot and lots of pictures got removed from the web. But I'm sure I have seen that kit before somewhere.

Someone told me the brand was frp. But there is nothing about it left on the web at all. One of those nitro conversions is on my bucket list. Lol. I’ve only ever seen a couple.

@@RCeveryday For my understanding FRP is the material used. I can not remember a brand name of FRP. I've been in this hobby since 1990, and RCCA subscriber since 1988. FRP=FIBER REINFORCED PLASTIC.

Do you know where to get the rear axles from?

The dogbone axles for something like this? I find most all of my vintage tamiya parts on ebay still.
