Tamiya Wrangler YJ
Went out for a most enjoyable trail run.., was a little cool to start (following the cold river) but slowly warmed up. The sun coming thru the trees was so great to see/ feel.
About time to through on another helper leaf to the rig.., nice and broke in.
The gcm trans makes this such a smooth rig to run! Few things to work on but really enjoyed this rig despite the hang ups of a short wheelbase.
Was a second hand buy from across the country. It was rough, broken & old but had some good strength left.
Still don’t know what chassis it is.
Axles had a broken pinion gear shaft.., took me a while and some money to locate what they were. Thought they were t-Rex d60’s but ended up being the d40’s.
Added a gcmracing lrt; modded to fit. Holmes Hobbies 5 slot 16t motor with hobbywing 1080.
Small 1.55 rc4wd Compass MT on 1.55 steelies. This configuration is fairly accurate as I don’t have the axles on top of leafs like a stock yj. Putting the axles under the leafs was a cheap lift mod to the yj’s.
Weathered body and added interior…, she’s got some good weight and a small wheelbase!
Driver is old man Logan (old man Logan graphic series).

Finally catching up on your videos, this Jeep your red stepside and 4runner are my favorites could watch them all the time man. Thanks for sharing great videos with us. People don't realize what it takes to do footage and editing to put stuff like this together Ive tried stepping my filming up and man its definitely work so I know and appreciate having great content to view thanks again man.

Thanks so much Matt!!!! Not quite sure..., it's an old original crawler chassis; years old. Original short trail finder or integey ..., old and leaf sprung. I modded to fit a scale gcmracing trans.., make it so buttery smooth. cheers Lance

@@MudderPutter funny thing is grab some amazon injora incerts or just the cheapo stuff thats more popular in the hobby and a redcat accent or a trx4 high trail and if you do basic video on the cheaper brand stuff thats more popular i bet u will see in flux in traffic to ur channel..bc there no way ur channel shouldnt be at 7k to 30k easilly bc ur content is that good...so guys will bounce around and say the love scale but will have all those other brands and make vids on that and once they get bored of that come back around to the scale stuff i guess...but then also mimic ur trail videos down to the T music and all thats why i said you should start claming these other youtube channels on ur taxs bc there your sons my guy lmao...but u have fun..im pretty sure its just a way to share the joy u have in the hobby and its not ur everyday life ya know..
