It's a great budget buggy. I picked a new kit up for £86. Came with the torque tune motor and CVA oil dampers. Added some bearings and its a great cheap basher.

Hey Fil! Thanks for sharing this unboxing with us. Really surprised to see the difference in kits depending on territory. Here in the UK this kit comes with CVAs and a Torque Tuned out the box. It is a cool chassis and I am sure you are going to love it 🙌🏻

This is actually an incredible budget car! There is an option cat for just a few dollars more comes a motor, esc, and oil field shocks. I highly recommend you go that route anybody looking at this. Definitely invest 10 bucks and the bearing kit first.! The gears in this car are super tough and you can easily put a high powered brushless motor in it. I love the frog throwback.! however, I do recommend upgrading the front steer tires. They will slip in high-speed turns.

Enjoy the build, I got 4 of those DT-03's. Guess mine are a couple years old now, they came with CVA shocks, Torque Tuned motor & Tamiya ESC TBLE-02. I got the chrome specials (Green Neo & Chrome Street Fighter) ended up buying two of each eventually to have spare chrome bodies and put stock painted bodies on 2 of them. Racestar 3650 Senorless motor/ESC (60A) 2300V is a great combo for this car. Some decent pick up & go for good price, Hobby Wing Just Stock combo on another. GPM Racing is a great place for upgrades 😉 one of my kits have more in upgrades then value of kit. 😁 Servo saver and blue loctite for the screw is a must with these kits, lost a couple of screws when my girls where playing with them. "Daddy! , the steering isn't working again!" 🙄 Thank you Gary for the cameo, had to watch that first 90 sec again for a laugh, keep up the good job. 🤣

Here in the states we can get it for $150 and it comes with the oil shocks, ESC and torque tuned motor! Amain has the Racing fighter for $125 with the same gear so it is a real steal!! I love these buggies and they drive really well (well with the oil shocks they do) and the only thing I have had to do is add a bit of weight to the front to keep the wheels on the ground and help with the understeer. It goes together really well and really quickly! I think you will like it a lot!

Excellent! This is a really cool buggy, I am sure you will be happy with it, buddy! Like Craig also wrote in his comment, it's weird how the scope of supply varies in the regions. Here for once, I feel we get a better deal, we get the CVA's, a Torque Tuned motor and an ESC in the kit, still at a really cheap price! This was my first Tamiya kit I bought after getting back to the hobby, in 2020, and I still love mine. Like we know, they are cheap, so in total I actually have 4 DT-03's, ha ha, one was converted to DT-02 and one is waiting to become a fake FAV... That is another thing I love about these, they are so versatile! Looking forward to seeing more with yours, see how you paint it and everything, it'll be really nice! Excellent, dude!
