I built the 3348 6x4 tipper a few months ago. That's the longest kit I have ever built. I'm glad to hear you say it's taking you longer than you thought. I do love my dump truck though.

I really like your build videos Bob! Thanks for sharing how to install the MFC-03 while retaining the dashboard. You mentioned that you had to remove part of the gear box cover, but I think you did not show the revised version. Anyways, I'll try to figure it out when I reach that step. Great tip too, on mounting a smaller speaker on the truck ceiling. I love the color of your truck, and excellent tip on the step board to the front bumper!

Looks great, I found that Servonaut do a great low profile speaker that sounds really good, nice tip screwing the steps on, I fitted the MFC and full interior, bit tight but can be done, just a suggestion, put the roof lights on the main (high) beam setting, you can switch them independently then

Your attention to detail is always impressive. I do wonder why the off road lights on top of the cab come on first, I would think they would come on last. The slots for zip ties and a better set of drive tires are a nice touch; and I agree should be updated in all the truck kits.

I gotta agree Bob... Beautiful Truck!! Awesome color choice too. 👍👍 Really liked the solutions to the MFC and Speaker mounting! It even looks like you could get TWO of those Beier Speakers up there, wired in Series (if 4 ohms would overload the Amp), for slightly better low tones. Either way, great idea!! A Thank You! You've inspired my Grand Hauler Dashboard. I cut behind the Gauges and backlit with LEDs. 😁 Glad all is OK!!👌 I was actually worried because I hadn't heard anything for a while. You were just BUSY! Listen, I've got a pretty big Order in your Store's Shopping cart, that within the next 5 days, I'm pulling the trigger on. 😲😁😁 I hope you're able to SHIP quickly, because I've waited literally DECADES to do this! One question.... For now! Can a MFC-03 be used with an external ESC?? I've enjoyed the low speed smoothness and FULL Lipo Compatibility with Hobbywing ESCs, and intend to keep them. In fact, I've got a Hobbywing WP1060 ESC mounted neatly into the STEP of my Grand Hauler!! .... That will be my final determining factor between the MFC or Beier.

  • @HobbyconceptsLLC

No. If you want to use a different ESC just use the Beier USM-RC-2. Less money than the Tamiya MFC, much smaller and has way more features. hobbyconcepts.net/products/beier-sound-module-usm-rc-2?_pos=1&_sid=0dacc0979&_ss=r
