Nice, I'm going the exact opposite route. I got a Globe Liner kit given to me. It was started, then abandoned. The body is gone. But all the details seem to be here. I'm thinking I might have to cut down a Hauler body into a day cab and build a super shorty to pull that 30' flatbed they sell. Then weather the heck out of it I like em looking rough. Anyhoo, I've almost got the chassis driving off of some real simple electronics. No MFU. I loved the series where you cut your cab. It made me feel ok about going forward with my truck. Be well, and have fun.

I have just begun to have an interest in 1/14 remote trucks as I have not long retired from driving trucks here in Australia mainly roadtrains around 35/36 meters long, from Brisbane to Perth approximately 4000 kms each way east-west.

Hi Bob, Very nice how you build and spray all the Tamiya trucks at your own taste. Everything about the built trucks looks nice and well thought out. Super fun and inspiring to watch all your videos. I have a question about spraying the truck bodies. You use a 1K car paint of Dupli Color for this Globe Liner. I want to use a similar metallic 1K lacquer from Motip. Well known here in the Netherlands. My question now is whether I should use the Tamiya surface primer. Or can I only use the Motip plastic primer for good adhesion and then my Metallic red 1K paint from Motip? It would be nice if you could help me on my way. Thanks in advance. Best regards, Dennis
