Anything Goes Gala & Beer Festival 2024

Newly built Corris Railway Falcon Number 10 was the star guest at the Talyllyn Railway's Anything Goes Gala, the locomotives first visit from its home, saw it appearing alongside Talyllyn Railway Number 3 Sir Haydn, the original Corris Railway Number 3.
We take a look at the day full of werid and wonderful workings in the order they happened. Starting with track inspection vehicle Toby departing Wharf.
The morning was particularly wet and after travelling behind "Alf's Inspection" to Rhydyronen, we see between Cynfal Halt and Rhydyronen the 9:30 "Diesels to Dolgoch" / "Y Shuttle" top and tailed by Baguley diesels No. 11 Trecwn & No. 12 St Cadfan, followed by No. 1 Talyllyn in its blue livery with the morning Engineers Train, including a miniature 5 inch Dolgoch.
The weather improved after this and moving the other side of Rhydyronen approaching Brynglas we see a tpair of double headed trains with Corris No. 3 + 10 coming through first, Toby returning down the bank and then Talyllyn No. 2 Dolgoch being piloted by No. 7 Tom Rolt.
A quick sprint back to Tynllwyn Hen Halt to catch Alf returning. No. 11 + 12 double head the 12:20 Tywyn to Nant Gwernold service, which is seen leaving Abergynolwyn, with an unexpected guest on the back with No. 9 Alf, which is seen leading the train on the return. No. 7 Tom Rolt is seen leaving Abergynolwyn with the afternoon Engineering Train, before No. 1 Talyllyn is seen arriving into Nant Gwernold with a passenger train. No. 10 & 3 double headed again in the afternoon and are also seen steaming out of Abergynolwyn. Finally the steam locomotives are seen at Tywyn Wharf on parade, before return to Pendre in a cavalcade.
