Talona Ridge sits atop a plateau looking down into the Ellijay valley. The spectacular views from this plateau are bar none. You have a spectacular view of The Cohutta and Rich Mountain Wilderness and surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains.
We give a Full Tour of the campground showing the amenity areas as well as a few stand out sites.
experience an unobstructed view of a beautiful sun rise over the Blue Ridge Mountains and then experience a beautiful sunset over the cohutta mountains. Talona Ridge sits as the gateway to the North Georgia Mountains and must be visited to truly understand the beauty as video does not do justice to the real life beauty.

Thank you! I haven’t seen that either. The map was an idea I had to help you get a better idea of where we (the camera) are and what the view would look like from that site, the map helps to place you. I first did this on the Greenbrier site tour in part 4 of that series. I also did that on Camp Margaritaville too. Glad you like that, expect more of it in future episodes! Thanks for watching!

One thing I failed to mention in the video is the pool is heated in the fall, winter and spring. I was told year round swimming. Totally slipped by me to mention that in the video, I guess because it was so hot. The new pool will be heated as well.
