TALON DRIVERS || T-38C Pilot Training, ENJJPT 20-01 Graduation
Фильм және анимация
This is a short film which highlights Euro NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training (ENJJPT) Class 20-01's training with the T-38C Talon.
We have finally completed Undergraduate Pilot Training (UPT) and earned our Air Force wings- it has been a tough 55 weeks to say the least and we hope you enjoy our short film for the T-38 phase of training! This was originally played during our graduation ceremony.
Thank you to our instructors, maintenance, crew chiefs, and support personnel that make the ENJJPT mission possible and for allowing me to produce and develop this short film. Lastly, a big thank you to all of our family and friends that have supported us through our pilot training journey. We could not have done it without you!

Students....stay in contact with your instructors and classmates. I got so caught up in training, upgrades, deployments.....I missed a chance to thank them all. Happy veterans day...go make us proud.

The sexiest trainer in the world.
“some of you will do these things, and also make the greatest Talon video of all time...”
Awesome video guys/gals...I was a few years ahead of you... 91-07 at Laughlin... I still remember my last -38 ride... pulled closed for the last time.. cruised down inside downwind, rolled off the perch and set er down..took my time taxiing to park and that was it...UPT was done...then went on to -135’s and KC-10’s for the next 22 yrs... Now I’m a 737 CA at AA ... enjoy your AF journey wherever it takes you...cuz it goes by fast... And thanks for your service... Max

Definitely made friendships that will last a lifetime through pilot training, and thank you for your service!
Not sure how many hundreds of times I’ve watched this excellent video. It is perfection. I had to chime in again to say thanks. The capture of emotions as you slow down the faces and smiles really shows these young pilots true character. Wow!
I have seen sooo many UPT and ENJJPT videos and all of your videos so far have been on a completely other level than the rest. Absolutely stunning and oh so inspiring!
Yikes this was so good... I've said it before and I'll say it again. You're in the wrong career! This is stunning cinematography. You truly have a talent.
I am truly envious of these folks. I wanted to fly the Warthog as a kid. But I was diagnosed with asthma at 10yrs old and the dream went right out the window.
As an old fart, my class was 1967-E at Webb AFB, TX. Those were the days. Then came the F-102A where I really learned to fly a military jet. Then a year in Vietnam. Years later I flew commercial airlines. What a difference. I wouldn't know the Air Force today but I have no regrets. Life goes on.
Folks, I started my Air Force Career - Repairing, Servicing and Inspecting this Magnificent Airframe in 1976 at Williams AFB AZ! I still see them most everyday from my office. From an AB Crew Chief to a CMSGT now retired, I now work as a Civilian Manager at Laughlin AFB, TX! Well Done & Congratulations young Officers & Pilots! This is an excellent video!

Thank you for a lifetime of service. I was a T-38 Instructor Pilot at Willy in late 89 to 92. People like you impeccably maintained these beauties beyond perfection. Why they are still flying today. The feeling of security when we borrowed these planes from their keepers for a few hours meant that my confidence in the airplane was perfection. That was what allowed us the freedom of training the best pilots this planet has known. I hope that our military maintainers get this message loud and clear. Thank you!
Thanks for the great clip.. it’s bring back my UPT training at Moody AFB 50 years ago. Thanks
My Uncle used this plane for the pilot washout program for the Air Force in the late 60’s and early 70’s. RIP Lt. Colonel Vilas Bielefeldt. Above his office door he had a sign that said “Have Fear All Yee Who Enter “.
Absolutely Incredible John Cavassa and ENJJPT Class 20-01! So proud to have your caliber of Air Force Pilots serving our great country!

Does everyone know how old these aircraft are? That t-38 at 1:16, you can see the tail and the serial number 66-352 those first two small numbers are the last two digits of the year it was built. IT WAS BUILT IN 1966. That beautiful machine is 54 years old!!!
Most beautiful aircraft of all time
One of the best graduation videos yet. Great job guys and thanks for serving!

Beautiful work! You captured the essence of the Air Force I remember. And what you showed me you guys have. Class, honor and respect for all those before and the many yet to join. From a former Air Force ATC’er Thank you Sir.

Thank you sir for this beautiful short film. I don't know any of the participants of this training program but I know the plane. My dad was a T-38A instructor 40 years ago. It makes my eyes water to see a T-38 or an F-5.
I love the T38s, F5 and F20's. They were a great simple design that could have been produced in great numbers because they were cheaper than their more complicated cousins. Some small countries took advantage of these low cost aircraft, but bigger countries bought more expensive aircraft. Too bad. They were a great design that's still relevant today. I'd like to see a stealth version of these!

Very accurate statement about these Northrop designed fighters. More then 3,000 built of the F-5 series and it's trainer clone the T-38. . Top Gun had/has "aggressor" F-5Es some with Russian paint/markings. Very difficult to see one on your six. More than 30 foreign country bought the F-5. . It's generally agreed that two F=5Es on your six with snakes is fatal do do. Side Bar: The original McDonnell Douglas F-18 was actually the no Carrier tail hook Northrop F-17 and Northrop went on to manufactured the F-18 Fuselage as the Principal Sub Contractor. The Lockheed F-35 Fuselage.is manufactured by Northrop-Grumman in-Palmdale, California.
Wow!!! Thank you for your service.

Laughlin AFB, crewchief at FCF section, 1979-1982...I know this plane inside and out. Got me an incentive flight for crewchief of the month, awesome flight. Test pilot took off, he guided me the rest of the way tested me out on my knowledge of instrument flight, high G climb and rolls. Yes, I wish I become a pilot but, I had the next best experience of my life time.

As a photography/videography lover, the filming in this is UNREAL! Your angles, your panning, the slow-motion, the variation of distances, the transitions with the music - it's all incredible work. I'm just getting into photography and videography and understand how long and tedious the editing process can be. This is a piece of art - so beautifully done! What do you think of the Ronin M? I recently purchased the Ronin-S and love it so far. Maybe someday I'll get the Ronin-M ... From a jet lover and aspiring (hopefully fighter!) pilot, I'm such a sucker for anything fast and pointy, and this video has only deepened my drive and motivation to fly among the skies with amazing guys like you someday! I'm also currently a 3rd Class Cadet at the Air Force Academy, and you sir have done a helluva job motivating me! I can't wait to see more incredible content! :D

Thanks! It is humbling for me to read that my work is inspiring others, especially when it comes to aviation. As far as editing, I couldn't agree more- it is quite the process to get everything "just right" and distill almost 20 hours of footage into a Glad to hear that you're loving the academy and want to fly! My experience at USAFA was awesome- lots of tough times, like pilot training, but it's all worth it!
