How we hit closing stock by sale value of inventory. Bcas inventory should be evaluated on cost or NRV whichever is lower . In the video case closing stock will be hit by 800 rs whether the purchase cost is 750 of particular item ..

in trading , if we wish to enter a voucher as single entry of both purchase and sale with different rate and weight as well , can we do this

It can be done under Journal voucher but you cannot use the same Voucher Type for both Sale and Purchase entries. You see there are two 2 different types of reports available under Account Books as Sales Register and Purchase Register to keep both of the entries separate. However, Journal can be used for both Sale and Purchase entries by just mentioning the right Credit/Debit Ledger Accounts. For Rate and Weight you need to enable Stocking/Inventory.

Sir please reply How to pass entry Purchased keyboards from HCL company. Should I create keyboard ledger or I should create as stock item ?

If you want to manage Stocking / Inventory then you should only create Items. Then either it is a credit or cash entry. If it is cash then you should use Payment voucher with Dr. Computer A/c and Cr. Cash A/c otherwise for Credit Purchase use Journal Voucher. Dr. Computer A/c and Cr. Shop Keeper a/c. Inventory only if you are going to Sales / Purchase the Keyboards.

I didn't get your question. Can you be more descriptive what you are asking about and what you actually need? If you are asking about configuring Standard Rates for Sales and Purchase then while creating an Item, Press 12 Key and then enable "Provide Standard Buying and Selling Rates" option.

Sir is it possible to enter purchase entry in voucher mode and sales entry in invoice mode ??

Ctrl+V is the shortcut key to switch between Invoice and Voucher Mode and yes you can do that.

@@TheTeacher Sir I tried doing that , but when i integrate accounts and inventory my P&L A/c shows loss and when i disable that option my Balance sheet shows Huge Difference in Opening Balance. How do i rectify this??

If you don't apply Units while creating an item then you will not be able to add Rates.

Make sure from F11 - Features, Integrate Accounts with Inventory is enabled and you must first create Units, Items and then create the Purchase Ledger and UNDER - Purchase Account Group. Let me know if that works.
