Size doesn't compute in my mind until I have something else to compare it with. These amazing structures, the biggest at the time, and of their time using the available technology at the time just blow me away when compared to the next item side by side. Был на Останкинской, очень понравилось на 340 метрах открытая смотровая, лифт движется 7 метров в секунду, аж уши закладывает, вид шикарный порядка на 60 километров.

Great video, 1 suggestion though, you should add the years those towers were built.

Somehow, I think the Washington Monument should've been in this list since it's the tallest stone tower built that has no mortar. It's just gravity and friction keeping it together. It's 555'-5" feet tall.

I'm glad that I've been to the tallest building in Japan.

So proud San Antonio got represented showing the Tower of the Americas.

Few towers missed....including twin towers...lotte world tower....makkah royal clock tower......shanghai tower....merdeka 118 tower.....and many more....would have been great to view the other towers animations too...😊 nevertheless, awesome video ❤🎉

I miss the Red Tower in Halle, Germany. 84 meters build in the 15th century.

I have vertigo and yet I’ve been in 3 of them. Eiffel Tower Paris, Stratosphere Tower Las Vegas, CN Tower Ontario (third highest). And you can add to that the highest inclined tower of the Montreal Olympic Stadium, absent from the list.

It's a building (habitable floors from ground to roof), not a "tower," although highrises and skyscrapers are sometimes referred to as such. All of these structures are self-supported TV masts or towers featuring viewing platforms that also function as landmarks.

Plus, Kingdom Tower is nowhere close to completion! If and when it is, you'll see it alongside The Burj Khalifa and One WTC, for example, in lists of the World's Tallest Buildings.

The bell tower of the Assumption Cathedral with a height of 89.5 m for more than a century and a half was the highest stone building in the city (except for metal towers), and only in 2006 were higher buildings built in Kharkov .
