    The animation and artwork are awesome! Thank you for this! 😃 Although the rain upon the statue's surface is detrimental to the size comparison, because the drops and their ways down are far too big, which makes the statues appear to be way too small. I recommend a new rendering without the drops visible upon the surface, only the reflection.

    I agree. And it's distracting from the statues themselves. No need to zoom in on some of them either. And they only zoomed in on ones from China. Why? What was that for? It didn't add anything to the video. Another distraction unfortunately. Otherwise it's informative.

    India is building world's tallest statue once again. Standing at 220 meters statue of chatrapati shivaji maharaj in Mumbai City and after this again beating it's own record and making world's tallest statue of Bhagvana Rama in ayodhya which will stand nearly 240 meters tall.

But building massive statues whoch hold world records, is a good investment, it will increase tourism industry, not only national tourism, but also international tourism. India's 4% GDP depends on tourism, which will further increase to 6% in next 5 years. So making world's tallest and biggest statues is a pretty good investment.

    Here’s another one that is left out: The Leshan Giant Buddha (Chinese: 樂山大佛) is a 71-metre (233 ft) tall stone statue, built between 713 and 803 (during the Tang dynasty). I think it’s the tallest ancient statue that still exists.

    There’s also the statue “Birth of a New World” or as we called it locally The Statue of Christopher Columbus in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. It’s 110 meters tall which will place it in this video 4th tallest in the World. It’s actually the tallest statue in the Western Hemisphere.

    @@indiankid8601 Kid, that statue is meant to represent a personality. A man who was the ideal himself. He was unity incarnate. What he did for India is far more than any "statue with an artistic pose signifying unity" can do. He was a living, breathing symbol of unity. Therefore it was chosen to make the statue of the man himself, instead of making some artistic "pose for unity statue". And the man himself didn't do some silly pose while shouting "unity pose!" like some comic book hero. He simple stood in that calm pose as embodied in that statue and united 550+ Princely states into one Union of India. And that is bada$$. Call him ugly all you want, your entire existence wouldn't amount to 1/billionth of what that man did.

    Yeah most of the statues are just crafted stone art while you can move between the leg of statue of unity because of its two base. That also makes it more realistic and unique like a colossal titan stuck there

    So, the height number in 2-digits of the tallest is just opposite to the 2nd tallest, 128 to 182!! Big difference😮👍

    Gotta commend you, 1:13 it's the first time I've seen someone mention the virgin of El panecillo fro. Ecuador in any list about statue sizes even though it's larger than some more famous statues and it's iconic to the capital city Quito

    That’s not accurate… with 110m the “nacimiento de un nuevo mundo” statue located in Puerto Rico it’s actually one of the five biggest statues in the world positioning 4th place.

    If you add the height of the base of the Statue of Unity, it'll be 240m tall. Btw, why didn't you add statue of equality(66m), the second tallest siting statue to the list?

    Tallest COMPLETED. Crazy Horse National Monument is taller by 5 meters, and will eventually include a wooden feather that will make him over 200! WHY he isn’t finished yet is noteworthy: 100% tax-free funding. Not a penny from the government, no other colossus in history can boast that particular ambition. It’s slow as cold molasses, but it has a certain freedom about it that is special, and devoid of the usual Bureaucrat interference with art.

    @@eldermillennial8330 Tallest one will be still in India. A statue of Shree Rama ...which is more than 220 m is under construction. This is made from donated money. Second one of Shivaji is around 212 m under construction.

    It is interesting that only a handful of these statues are known the world over, namely Michelangelo's David, the Sphynx, the statue of Liberty, and Rio's christ.
