I never had bad acne or something like that, but I got a skin allergy from a product and it left redness that's still fading to this day. I wanted to cry when I saw myself in the mirror, literally tried not standing in the sun because it standing out and literally getting to the point where I almost broke the curtains because I didn't wanted to see myself, but I was obsessed with it. The worst thing is that no one said anything mean, but it was a big obsession. I already had bad self steem and that was a major blow to me. I compared myself nonstop to a friend with clear skin who was pretty and skinny, that felt fat. I feel bad for her, I like her, but I envy her. At least I can turn envy into compliments because I wish someone complimented me, so I hope I comforted anyone at least a bit.

That isn't glue it's basically medicine for people that have allergies so basically the main character's sister has a worst life then her since she has expectations pushed onto her & barely a childhood and also has to deal with severe allergies

16:00 I'm pretty sure that's actually a waterphone which is something that is used to make horror sounds in horror media. I didn't know about it until we had a piece in band where we used it. Anyway, I would recommend looking into it if you're interested because it's pretty interesting.

As a native swede who has never lived outside sweden and speaks fluent Swedish every single day, Stig’s Swedish does NOT sound that good. Also what the people were playing around the ping pong table is something we like to call ‘rund pingis’ which directly translates to ‘round ping pong’. That is a version of ping pong where you can be up to like 20 people playing at the same time, you take turns and walk around the ping pong table and play all against all. I hope this cleared some stuff up :)

I want to see a Tall Girl 3 but the opening 10 minutes will focus on a random man who was fired for not meeting his quota at the bottle factory due to his arthritis. His house is repossessed by the bank as collateral for being unable to pay his bills. He spends all his money on camping supplies and canned goods, and after a day of begging, he comes back to his camp to discover some hoodlums destroyed everything while he was away. He sits on the curb and sulks outside of the movie theater, which was a source of happiness during his youth. He has no money for food or drinks or even tickets. Then a kind stranger gives him 30 bucks and tells him to treat himself. He goes into the movie theater and gets snacks, a drink, and a ticket to see a movie . He enters the room and takes the only open seat, behind our titular tall girl. The man politely asks her to switch seats with him, for she is very tall and blocking his vision. Jody rudely declines his request and proceeds to explain how tall women are discriminated against and how he should be more open minded. It's at this moment one of the staff walks up with their flashlight, they ask what's the problem. Jody then says that the homeless man was harassing her. The staff then kick the homeless man out of the theater without his popcorn and drink. Then, the rest of the movie focuses on Jody and her little problems.

As a tall girl my only problem is that I have yet to find a shoe my size in the women’s section. I once did find a pair of high heels my size but they cost €200 which was annoying and i didn’t like their style. Clothes also look disproportionate and never cover my ankles. I guess I also don’t like when men say they wouldn’t date someone as tall as me. When I had anxiety it was hard as everyone knew my name but I didn’t know theirs. I also felt like everyone was staring at me, and usually they were. The movie explains all the minor inconveniences. Oh I also hated when people talked to me as if I was an adult when I was like 12 and 5’11”. But they’re such minor things compared to all the other fucked up shit in my life. It’s rly weird that they made a movie out of it. And there are benefits. Men either love or hate tall women and it’s not too hard to find men that appreciate it. I was good at sports. My lanky body type used to be the « ideal » modelling type when I was younger. Being treated like an adult helped me mature quicker. Could always pretend to be older to get on roller coasters and stuff.

As someone who is gluten free, the most realistic scene in this movie is the one where they bond over gluten free food. I have done that so many times. Never flirted with them though because my body can’t handle wheat isn’t really a big selling point for a relationship.
