Of course he makes us want a Tudor; we are already watch guys. But to bring in millennials, a Beckham or Lady Gaga is better.

Now THIS is talking watches. Not some entitled schmuck who bought a new diamond-encrusted APRO to celebrate his latest movie or sports title. Great stories from a decorated veteran. As cool as the watches are, the stories are so much better. But I wanna hear about that knife!

@@indiefruit The reason it's cliche, is that it's true. Submariners and old tool watches are now luxury items that idiots with way too much money to burn, because of this. This guy had some crazy and intense experiences with that old beast. It's very cool to see some of the history.

bluemystic7501 real easy. Our “big life accomplishments” are certainly worth celebrating with a great watch. But none will be as epic or important as stories like in this video. My wedding, or the birth of my child, or graduating from college will not contribute at all to the legend of that watch. These stories are the reason these watches are what they are today. Don’t take it personally.

Fascinating stories behind each watch from a guy who used the watches for their proper purpose and not kept in some safe somewhere. You don’t have to have a ton of watches to have a fascinating episode of talking watches.

By far my favorite taking watches. Great piece of journalism and featuring an unsung hero. More like this one please!

Moki is one of my grandpas friends! He really is a humble, amazing man and artist. My grandparents have his art around her home. Always admired this man since i was a child

This is one of the best Hodinkee episodes I’ve seen. No nonsense watches for a no nonsense guy. We need to thank that man for serving our country.

Great story from an hero

This was my favorite episode by far. Of course I say that about every episode. This shows that at the heart it's not about collecting watches it's about loving watches. No matter what the cost it's the story that makes the watch special. Too all who care about the watch they wear everyday, we are bonded by the love we have for our friend who sits on our wrist and never let's us lose track of time. After all with such a short time on this earth our time is so valuable.

What an amazing interview! This man, he lived through so much, much of what no one would want to experience but ,man, is he interesting to listen to and seems to have had a remarkable life.

I watched this story a few times already. This time with my new BB 41 on the wrist. I could sit here and listen to stories like this all day/.

As a man with a military past (not US) this video has touched me and resonated with me in so many ways. I can't stop wiping tears from eyes. Such a genuine and humble man who truly loves his watches.

Is it just me but Im enjoying this one even more than the John Mayer ones. This Man has a real story to tell... This memorys and the watches connected to them are priceless...

Non-celebrity interviews are soooo much better. Everyday people with great stories. Love it

In few minutes, I felt more connected and touched by this man than most people I've known in my whole life. I was literally there where he was.

James is the best talking watches guy, followed his reviews on KZread for a number of years, even bought a watch off him once. A real gent!

I can only wish my watches will have stories like this in the future. When I'm old and grey, but still young at heart, remembering all the stories that I've lived with my faithful watch on my wrist. Only time will tell.

i think many viewers would agree- another episode with Moki is absolutely needed.
