He is one of the few that actually deserves his watches. I don't understand the hate. He gives value to many people's life and he is getting rewarded. I had so many types of arguments like "Christiano Ronaldo makes so many million just by playing football and doctors make peanuts by saving people". Well, now we have a doctor that actually makes millions, can we just be happy for him? He deserves everything he owns! And he is a humble guy as well.

@yusufbest4475 His videos is about medicine. 😐
The fact that all of his watches are not at all easy to obtain or cheap and YET you can see visible signs of wear on all of them, that's a true enthusiast right there.

Major eye roll 🙄 . You can wear it once and still scratch it. ‘Omg there’s a scratch on it, he is true enthusiast’ 🙄🙄🙄

Watches aside, which is incredible, love the family stories. As a father, I love the see and hear such stories between father and son.
this guy is legitimately a cool guy. Humble, chill, and intelligent on a human level.

I don't think you understand 'humility'.
Respect, my story is somewhat similar, minus KZread lol. Soviet immigrants, came to the US at the age of 9 without anything, 1980. Learned the language. Went to school, went to Law School. Have my own firm for over 25 years. Love watches and have a pretty spectacular collection. Appreciate your story and your journey. Thankful for this amazing country where you can have and live the American dream.
This was great. I had never heard of Dr. Mike before this, but I bet he starts showing up on my YT page now, lol. Seems like a humble and great guy - cool story and great collection and interview.

Me neither. Never heard of him at all.
Please kindly consider filming a Talking Watches with Dr. Peter Attia. He told a great story regarding his Speedmaster on Hodinkee several years ago and is an avid watch enthusiast who is exceptionally well spoken. He would make an excellent guest just as Dr. Varshavski did.

Great father and son story, all his sacrifice and rewarded with the AP must of been an amazing moment for you both.
I didn’t have high hopes seeing the types of watches, but this was a really really great episode. Love the in-depth stories, nostalgia and attachment he has to each of his watches. Bravo Dr.Mike! Our community is lucky to have you.
Definitely my favorite episode of this series so far. I’m so glad that Doc Mike is an enthusiast. It’s very refreshing

Loved the episode!!!
Great video. Super likable guy with a great story.
Probably one of the best episodes
Awesome collection and person. Great episode!
Never heard of him. Good convo tho! Enjoyed it 😊. Nice to see someone get a hype piece and tie it to something actually meaningful. The blue AP story was great.
No idea who he was. Cool video!

I think it's because he's the typical arrogant doctor, who has that alpha "I'm super accomplished" type of dude that forgets what being humble is..... Dad of a doctor here. Gotta bring her down to reality every now an then..... His collection is great. But he's a bit of a pill to deal with while acting like he's humble, he sounds like a C U Next Tuesday...
@daniell2217

@heli. Ok. But, he IS super accomplished. No ‘quotes’ about it. He’s smarter, more successful, etc. etc. than 99% of the rest of us, including me and including you. If a superior human being is also a nice, sweet, humble person, that’s god-tier. But, not being nice, sweet, humble, etc. doesn’t diminish or dilute being a superior human being.

Doctor Mike rocks!! Great guest choice!!
Amazing episode! Great watches, and nothing but respect for anyone who steps in the ring.
I can’t tell how long I’ve been seeing this man’s insane watches and have been waiting for this episode!!!!
So glad this video happened. Love Dr.Mike. I always admired his watch collection. Hope to see the drummer Antonio Sánchez on the show. Don't know who he is look him up. :)
Great episode!
Beautiful watch collection ❤
Excellenct episode! I love his honest approach to new watches.
Seems like a cool guy who massively appreciates where he is in life. Lovely collection and good to these watches actually being worn 🙂
So cool to see some Zenith on here! My favorite brand, I have had two now. Not enough people talk about them because they're more affordable than some other brands.
Very genuine interview. Hodinkee, this is one of your greatest episodes
Dr. M is a true watch geek!
Been waiting on this. His video on suits is legendary.
Awesome vid, congrats to the good Dr., sick collection!
As a medical student and a watch enthusiast who photograph and record videos on watches as a hobby, seeing this talking watches has been wonderful. I follow you and dr.mike from almost your respective beginnigs here on KZread and to see two of my favorite content creators come toghether has been fantastic. Great episode!
The guy has heart. We may not agree on some things but respect.
What an inspiring doctor 👏👏👏
Top bloke. I like his values and his watches.

finallyyyyyy ive been asking for this for years!!!!

Great vid! ✌️
Great episode. Dr. Mikes the man!
I inherited 52 watches from my boyfriends collection. I dont know anything about watches but i like this collection simply because it reminds me of him
Wow…. Loved this episode. Dr. Mike seems genuine! Love the passion he has as a doctor and a watch enthusiast.
Sweet stuff
@dr mike, you have such a good heart🥰
The collab we didn’t know we needed..
Damm every time I saw his videos I kept seeing him with amazing watches, nice to see the collection
Dr Mike inspired me also into watches every time on a show with no nice watch. also start looking around for watches. his Super Dr with excellent taste in clothes. even the new house speaks of excellent work
That was so deep what a share! My mom received one as a graduation gift as a girl so she did the same for me... I love my eco citizen !
Young, successful and a colleague, congrats!
I'm following Dr Mike's steps, starting by getting myself Casioak
Thanks for introducing me to Dr. Mike. It was a terrific exploration of a man, his life and his watches.
I had never heard of the guy- but seems like a nice chap!
This guy deserves these watches 100%
A video like this seems brings out all the watch gatekeepers that make people hesitant to “get into” watches.
That light blue AP clean.
I love the stories behind the watches, very heartwarming to hear that father son bond.
Been wanting this one ngl
Dr Mike is the GOAT
Happy to see HODINKEE going more working class. Think the new videos will be well received
Genuine dude
I love you Mike but...Sieko?? 😅 Anyways the black ceramic perpetual calendar oak is fantastic
Been a fan of Doctor Mike for the last few years, great to see him talk about a collection that clearly means so much to him
I LOVE AP ❤❤❤
Absolutely LOVED this episode. The candor and humility with which he spoke, the very personal and meaningful stories, and of course the passion.
I could listen to his voice all day ☺️ he’s so soothing !
17:00 audio glitch 😂?
Finally !!!!
He doesn't live for his watches, he collects them as a hobby. Is there actually a watch collectors club?!? Just wondering... And yes, he deserves every bit of success that he has!
very cool watch how much does is cost doc . l hope the chanel continues to tube pros perous and successful

Most impressed that he likes Zenith and scratched watches. Great story of his father/son relationship, some of us don’t have such a bond, which is sad for me but happy for the “most popular doctor in the US”.

What is admirable about him is that he has achieved a lot at a very young age and he is bringing good medical facts to the people through media. I could not however get into the whole blue eyes, huskies, and then AP connection. Not sure if I could wear a watch that reminds me of my dead mom
The internet is so odd. This guy has 25 zillion followers and is the largest medical whatever....and I have never heard of him in any capacity whatsoever....lol. It's just so big and broad. Good watch collection tho.
Not a single pulsation dial…

Thats quite disappointing, and he is more of a media celebrity than a working doctor. He has a DO and went to a family medicine residency, which doesnt require one to be near the top of his medical school class. Even I feel like some of his stories are somewhat suspect. No surgeon would trust a med student with a real Daytona. Surgeons would rather tie their watch to the scrub string.
Sounds like Dr. Mike needs a Birth Year DJ or GMT in his collection. Cheers 🥂 to our Soviet Parents who had the 🌰 to take a Chance Leave careers and Move to a Country not knowing the language and contributing something to Society.

Please, for the love of Pete. Bring on better guests. People like the Navy Seal from the early days, people like Fred Savage. Don McLean. Come on @Hodinkee team.
AP is more about bonds. Hope one day I will make it there!
Those people hatin are the one that wants the watches but couldn’t get it 😂
The photo of the Seiko was the most interesting in the collection
_Vaccines save lives_ Really cool.
bro was made to buy the code 11 59 perpetual as a “bundle” deal but pretends he really likes it and wanted it 😂

nice guy but pure hype pieces. interesting to see him try to justify them.
