Jon: that one is near the top of my short list. Some folks think its hearsay, but I think N1 did a better job than T1 as a setting, plot, and nearby dungeon. It clearly benefited from previous modules. Thanks for watching!

I was super excited for ToEE after Hommlet, as a DM. But my group is not into the mega dungeon style. So gonna need to figure out something else for the elemental evil instead.

This has been out for almost a year. I haven't seen it out on the shelves. Well, I'll start looking for it.

It was mentioned that some content is being included from the novelization (which I haven't read). I remember some good side quests in Nulb from the video game of ToEE. I don't know if some of those are included in the novel, but I'd be interested in hearing if some of the extra content from the video game was included. Stefan: No, I never played the video game, so there are no included side quests. The novel was a good read; better than I expected. Its easily found online on used book sites. Thanks for watching!

Aw, was hoping a talk of Hommlet being converted to DCC. No interest in 5E, or WotC for that matter. Just starting the video, will hold in there with fingers crossed just not 5e talk. Currently running modified Hommlet using DCC. New to DCC so was hoping for tips and to see how well or bad I did on converting to DCC.

Reading that glossary I'm quite surprised at some of the words that americans are unfamiliar with (turret, hale, jape, mote, chaise lounge, divan, parapet, cassock, ewer, fortnight, aperitif, splay, plinth...) Or maybe this is just the level of education in newer generations the world over.

Great discussion! I vote for D1-D3, I1 or L1.

I agree....

To be fair early D&D had a lot of magic items as characters didn't have powers like they do in today's game.

Aw he was into rangers and druids and became a biologist. Jaroo Ashstaff was Tim Kask btw

Plot wise the traders have a glyphed scarab that implicates Turuko, Zert, Gremag, and Y'dey as being cult members with access to the Temple

My top two would be Slavers and the D series because D is so empty id love to see it more refined with your creative additions. Add in The Q series after those two are done

Any advice for converting 1e to 5e? How do you handle spells Protection from Magic, which seem to have no 5e equivalent?

Its certainly a challenge at times. But we try our best to keep the old edition feel in all of our conversions.

It's probably been mentioned several times, but when will this release? I'm itching to order it but I can't find where to do so.
