This is actually so cool, doing an interview while playing the game with the dev. Love seeing other devs we don't hear from get involved with the community.

So cool he had an unlimited interview while playing what he developed. Much of my 17 years of WoW is just checking out what the devs have come up with.

20:00 or so - About the rewards from limited time content like the Plunderstorm If the Rewards from Plunderstorm was announced with its release that "The full Plunderlord's Finery set will be released 3 months later to the Trading Post" it lets me play the new system to later save some Tenders. It would in my eyes not be a full FOMO since I will be able to get it later. Even the same treatment as Dreadwake mount could work where it's an event for a while, then after that it's in the Cash shop for a few months and later it is available in the Trading Post. All within, say, 6 months. Can still have something small that's limited to the full Renown such as a "Plundermaster "-title or something that is limited time. I guess I mention Titles because that's not something I'm farming and collecting the same way I collect transmogs..

I know the time to ask possible questions is over, but I wonder if they could make a separate client for just plunderstorm, that way whenever retail is in maintenance you can still hop on this mode and game till maintenance is over (similar to how classic and retail have different maintenance schedules, you can pick between any of those but you can't pick plunderstorm while retail is not up)

That sandstorm ability is unbelievably busted with double ranged abilities. When Max rolled up to that fight I was like he has exodia here just pump them and he did not disappoint.

DOTA 2 has a spectator mode where you can watch matches as they're happening or matches that already happened and its really sick. Something like that would be cool for retail and it would be a nice learning tool for everyone, in both PvE and PvP.

It would be nice if you were able to transmog you character with retail mogs collected, and it would encourage many players to play retail to obtain appearances

And this is also linked to the idea of free to play. I have so many friends who want to play it, but as soon as I told them that they have to download the whole retail game and pay subscription they got all negative. Making the game f2p and giving people motive to play retail for appereances and only then force them to pay subscriptions etc seems the best way to attract more people to both games… hope any of the devs read this

I'm happy some players enjoying BR, but I'm also sad the thing we have in 10.2.6 in actual wow is bug fixes mostly. I believe if this event wasn't so overhyped with mystery, the "pve" playerbase wouldn't be so disappointed

This new game mode was incredible and in a way it motivated me to have more positive hopes about Retail. With the success of Plunderstorm I imagine a significant improvement in events, and also new modern combat mechanics for Retail, as well as new skill animations. I was missing that passion and boldness, which was lost a long time ago!

I just wish plunderstorm would be in the actual game. I love mage tower-esque content so much especially during the end of an expac. But unfortunately Plunderstorm hasn't done this for me. I am super hopeful Pandamonium will be hype for me, other than that, yeah keep Plunderstorm up for the enjoyers

There is no world in which I would ask for more plunderstorm. If people want the mode... whatever, but locking actual wow cosmetics behind it is horrendous.

You should look in to how it was formatted and how the winners were actually chosen. Pika/Xaryu absolutely dominated but didn't win because of the cooked win conditions.

Pretty lame to see how dismissive some streamers are of people having opinions about Plunderstorm. Would be nice to see more content developed where I can play my World of Warcraft characters in World of Warcraft, progressing through content. The idea that this "adds to our subs" is the issue. I sub to play World of Warcraft, not a BR. Time, money, creativity, all put into something that detracts from the actual base game is sad to see. Love the idea of new ideas and concepts with WoW, can we please apply that to the retail game? No more fated S4, no more rotating raids in S4, try no affixes for a Season? Any or all of the above?

Great to see Blizzard doing interviews with the only people that seem to matter to them, streamers and content creators. Sadly it was all a fluff piece and really light on about the criticisms, along with them completely ignoring ANY criticism about how this was handled or the mode itself. Oh well.

A balanced, fun gamemode included for free with your subscription and you're complaining about "how it was handled"? People who do nothing but live with hate lead a very sad existence.

The BEST thing about Plunderstorm is that they DELETE it. Never to be seen again.
