I told my parents about it and listed some guests, red Ken for instance, my parents were like "does he lay into them", I explained that it's nothing like question time, and how Nigel enjoys listening to their background.

Tells it as it is my arse. He completely avoided mentioning what the Hillsborough headline was and set the stage so Kelvin could play the victim. Doesn’t give a shit about working class football fans. For the record the headline was Liverpool’s fans stealing from and pissing on the dead. It was completely false and without fact checking or caring about the victims, or their families, assumed it was true because a police officer said so. And published that story.

Talk Sport brought back a memory . One Sunday morning the topic of immigration came up. I immediately phoned thru and said that the biggest problem was the rise in crime and that the prisons were overflowing. Shortly afterwards a Policeman said that half of the prisoners were white . At which the program presenter muttered 50% from 10% of the population is nothing to write home about. Then to cap it all some moron had the line wanting to talk to me , and all he could say repeatedly " Your a bigot " to which I agreed to several times, Eventually in exasperation i shouted what do you want me to write it in blood. At the end of the program the presenter said that 80% of incoming calls agreed with me.

He’s said what was reported was absolute rubbish ,, and has blamed the police and a senior government official for authentication of this rubbish ? What more do you need , the disgrace is that no-one has been jailed for this incident ,, in my opinion a high percentage of those who lost their life were murdered due to police incompetence,,

Kelvin is a great man who says it how it is. We need more like him in 2022.

The Sun newspaper wrote some groundless articles, blaming Liverpool fans. Resulting in over thirty years later en mass most Liverpudlians boycotting buying The Sun newspaper.

no he didn't - he reported what the police said, which is what every editor would do - liverpool fans were partly responsible - they (and many teams) had a track record of turning up at 2.55 without tickets, and the easiest way to control that - back then - was to let them in. easier to control inside that out on the streets causing mayhem.

Real talk - i like it. However, as he said - HIllsboro was over 30 years ago now, so why not show he can see how Liverpool fans and families were feeling and just apologise like an adult??
