I'm so glad there's another, better recording of Cities from this show. It's definitely my favorite version of the song; David just gives it his all of his energy.

The wrong guitar chord drives me crazy. It should be a minor with the higher of the two chords you hear right after "city to live in".

When I saw them on this tour in Des Moines, Bernie Worrell was also part of the extended group, and Tina was very much pregnant...

Yeah, that tour was a bit peculiar in some ways. Bernie wasn't available for the Europe tour, they got him replaced by Chic's keyboard player, Raymond Jones.

instrumentation here in general here is sublime, wish it was higher quality bc I would definitely download some of this... maybe my favorite versions of these songs!!

this was "my first time" in Montreux , when there was still a 'music festival' there ... !!! ... so thanks for uploading !!!

Pretty good sound. Well done. This is one of the better earlier/mid live recordings.

It sounds like whoever ripped this show could've done a better job on head alignment, I hear the high end come through much better a few times.

Eenmmmm audio doesn't give me wood..

I couldn't hate the on screen image any more. Is that a Aphex Twin as David Byrne?
