Nobody ever seems to mention Chris on the drums but he was a huge part of the Talking Heads sound. Always solid as a rock. He wasn't a fancy player but he was all about the groove.

@@seanc6042 He's basically encouraging her because he really knows she's under average, it's a bit cringe really. Also, because she is female she is getting extra encouragement from the SIMPs, that any other guy would NOT get. Of course she hears these guys saying how good she is and starts demanding, and that, ladies and gentlemen, is what's wrong with the world and it makes me want to puke. You can say that a high percentage of Talking Heads fans are these types of SIMP guys

When they were at their best. In 1977, I dragged a small crew of fellow SUNY-Binghamton freshmen to "The Other Place", a very quaint club in Vestal, NY to see the TH. The band only had one record under their belt at the time. The joint held 50, or so, people from what I remember. We still talk about the show 40+ years later. They came back to campus after the second album was released and played our "Social Room", another rather small venue. Those were the days.

@@rman52 Yes, she even passed up the reunion tour because her therapist said it would trigger her back into addiction. So for her health’s sake and recovery, she passed on the tour. And that includes big money. While I’m sad to not get to see her together again with the rest of the band, she probably did the right thing. Your health is your wealth. Of course, she could have played one Chicago show at least but I guess not. I forgot to mention Paz plays a mean violin. She’s really good on violin. So she is talented. And she revived the Pixies 🧚‍♀️ and gave them a second chapter. I like the music they are putting out lately.

The comments below suggest they had a more amazing sound than what I just heard. Perhaps I just don't get it and had to be there.
