Talkin' Pro Models With Gilbert Crockett
In his most recent trip to NYC, Gilbert Crockett stopped by the House Of Vans BK to celebrate the release of his second pro model, the Crockett Pro 2.
After a sweaty session showcasing the shoes powerful abilities, we sat down with Gilbert to discuss his favorite childhood skate shoes, skateboarding's continuous evolution, and his experience designing pro models.

Man his shoe is so solid. First day skating them strait out the box, incredible!
Feel great about getting these shoes now that I see the guy they’re named after plays bass haha
He's so right I'm 30 , I grew up skating all shoes across the board...I had d3 2001's lol hahahaha but had Marc Johnson 2 emericas and they were amazing , I had accels and after skating vans for 5+ years I went back to accels and I just couldn't skate in them anymore...shit evolves...but the 'Es koston 1 would still hold up today
when are this black n white pros gonna drop
his shoes have all been legit. I'm skating his first pro model high top right now.

He's right though, they don't feel right now a days. I bought a pair of Es Accel slims and I was still hyped on how they looked as if I was in 2005 again but on the board it just doesn't do it like the shoes being made today.

This kind of disappoints me. I didn’t think he would be a style queen, talking about how people dress. He’s also not one to talk about shoes being ugly, with his wack style.
