On November 22nd 2019, gallery owner Sofie Van de Velde was a keynote speaker at the main stage of the inspiration and networking conference Creative Ville, organised by Flanders DC in de Handelsbeurs in Antwerp.
Located in two areas in Antwerp, “Gallery Sofie Van de Velde” stands for entrepreneurship in art. At the opening of the Art Basel fair in 2018, Gallery Sofie Van de Velde received the prestigious “Creativity and Innovation Award” for their inspirational and innovative way of working.
