You are right! India has very rich regional History, but it is somehow lost in the fake narrative....! Effort must be made by local historians to write their own histories and record them meticulously, which We in India do not do.

@@maveluck Because Indians are busy become doctors and engineers, and they have totally neglected their social studies. It is time Indians start recording their local histories seriously.... We cannot expect Western academia to write accurate History of our people. It is our duty!

Kalinga always remain independent kingdom till Marathas coming . Mughal were defeated many times by Odia kings . Kalinga has footprints in Srilanka , Indonesia, Burma , Thailand , Laos , Kamidia , Vietnam, Maldives , Philippines, Malaysia , China , Taiwan , Madagascar and Egypt . It is interesting that south East Asian people called india Keeling . It is strange that South American native Indians believed that they are from east-coast of India known as Keelung .

@@user-db7uf5co6h Kharavela *was a Jain King !!* There's no doubt on that. He in fact, fought and defeated the Hindu kings of Magadh, and brought back the statue of the *Kalinga Jina (Lord Adhinath Rishabhdev)* which was stolen from Kalinga many years before Kharavela was born. Jainism and Hinduism are TWIN BROTHERS, but, Jainism is *not at all a part of Hinduism,* !! Jainism is an Eternal independent system and philosophy.
