    My biggest complaint: I wanted much more and it could’ve and should’ve been longer, especially the last episode of Ashoka. Hopefully we get more like it and this succeeeds financially, so we can get longer seasons in the future.

    “You’re a much wiser man than I Qui-Gon Jinn.” Basically some of the last words that Qui-Gon said to Obi-Wan in The Phantom Menace. We’re so blessed to have Dave Filoni. He shows so much love to the Prequels. By far my favorite Star Wars content since Season 2 of The Mandalorian. We need more content this. A Tales of the Bounty Hunter featuring Jango Fett and Cad Bane, and a Tales of the Sith featuring Palpatine and Maul would be amazing. Filoni is the closest that we have to Lucas. His work is incredible!

    I saw an interview with filoni at celebration this year where he said the idea for TotJ began as sketches he made on napkins while he was on a plane, and he shared those with lucasfilm people, and they begged him to make it into a show, despite all the other stuff he was working on. Loved it!

    This gave me mass Dark Age/Medieval vibes in terms of the architecture of the town that felt like something you'd find in The Witcher 3 but of course with Retro Star Wars mixed in with it. Yet the guards themselves gave me massive Victorian vibes with those helmets like British soldiers or police officers. Also reminded me a little of War of the Worlds which was set in 1890s England in a town with alot of Medieval architecture while also featured British soldiers in similar outfits. 3rd Episode felt very Old Republic those ancient royal designs that also feel very high tech at the same time showing that they've kept there ancient culture throughout history just updating the tech. That's what I loved about Kotor it felt like Star Wars yet ancient while the MMO had some designs that felt a little too modern or too World of Warcraft going a little overboard in it's designs which is pretty common for MMOs they tend to create some wild armour even if it doesn't match the game. Overall loved these episode and hopefully Dave sees these reactions and realised that people would love a solo Count Dooku series or at least a show set before Episode 1 maybe even a short animated film around an hour. Also just a funny note but I love when people cry about Andor using alot of Earth themed stuff yet Star Wars has been doing that for years with it's architecture it's just most people never notice stuff like that. For example I could argue that this felt like it took place in a war torn 1890s England in a town with historical Medieval Architecture. Yet I don't mind and love that they've pulled from this time period in our history same goes with Naboo and how it heavily uses Renaissance architecture or how the upper levels of Coruscant have a very art deco look and feel yet now has a very brutalist architecture look under the Empire. Star Wars has always used real life architecture doesn't make it any less alien to me same goes with clothing designs, weapons, every day items etc. As long as they put a Star Wars spin of it then it's fine.

    Ahsoka’s tribe was very interesting. I enjoyed that little peek into her origin. Interestingly enough, there are plenty of real world examples of women hunters and warriors throughout history. Gender roles in general came along with various religious sects mostly as a measure of oppression or control. Even today, many people expose their children to hunting and wilderness survival early in life. Although, I agree that taking a one year old on a hunt is a bit excessive for a tribe that does not appear to be nomadic. But, it was obviously there as a story telling element to show Ahsoka’s first use of animal kinship. Episode 1 was probably my least favorite episode. I enjoyed the Count Dooku arch more over all, and the other two Ahsoka episodes resonated with me more personally. That being said, all six were good. We need more of this!

    When Dooku goes to choke out the senator, when he sees the suffering he has caused. The truly scary thing is Dooku is not wrong 😑 the senate is not fit for purpose. Why was this man not stopped ? And the Jedi follow the senate blindly. A true recipe for disaster. You get emotional I think with master and apprentice. Because Dookus praise and complements are earned. He is known for being cold but he is not. And you can see the Love 🥰he has for QI they are almost like father and son. Dooku is such a tragic tale , he turns to the dark side because of others corruption. And trying to make things right , sadly he chooses the wrong way

    Eh Andor shows a whole different side to the Star Wars galaxy, it's a universe after all our tiny little Earth alone has so many different tones, emotions, feels, and cultures so what's wrong with Andor highlighting a whole different side of the universe. The age of the Empire is very different to the pre Clone Wars era. I would love a Star Wars show that solely follows a single Imperial Star Destroyer and her crew kind of like Battlestar. This would be amazing yet some people would complain that it wouldn't feel like Star Wars simply because there's more focus on technical stuff and tactics with a more gritty and militant feel than lightsabers and action 24/7.

  • @rello2x

    @@CaptainAmercia not everyone’s take that dislikes andor, requires or needs “ action, shooting, Jedi , lightsabers etc 24/7” I’m grown ofc I can have scenes without that so much but could still execute those things with good story as well. Wish people would quit speaking on people opinions like we manbabies with low attention span and hungry for action na stfu😂, or try and speak for us who has opposing opinions. They can still have some of that stuff and mix of what andor is doing still, and have it just as compelling. Majority who dislike it from what I’ve seen/ heard is it drags those things u speak of wayyyyyyyy too thin..like come on compared to other SW content like mando clonewars, prequels, even the tones etc in tales currently feels incomparable with Andor.

  • @CaptainAmercia

    @CaptainAmercia

    Жыл бұрын

    @@rello2x No offence but for one you liked you're own comment and two you're comment is more of a rant than anything else so I don't think you can call anyone " Manbabies". Of course there's people who aren't into Andor for reasons that I haven't stated from not being interested in the character to the whole idea of a more grounded drama not being their thing. But that's not what my original comment was about rather than being about people disliking Andor it's more about people referring to Andor as not Star Wars. You can dislike Andor that's fine but saying that it's not Star Wars is just inaccurate and a point I totally disagree on. Some people don't like long series that builds up to what it's trying to achive and that's fine. Todays episode had a massive cameo in it that most people didn't even notice instead of throwing it in you're face like those other shows you mentioned. Most people are loving Andor while a good amount of Star Wars fans miss the more mainstream Star Wars tone and feel which is understandable but by no way makes the show "Bad" or "Not Star Wars". Andor so far has a solid narrative with some amazing worldbuilding and writing that for the most part goes over alot of peoples heads until its brought up again in a future episode. Andor would've shown you an important character in the background of a scene who you wouldn't even notice until there brought into the narrative while Mandalorian would cut to a shot of the person dead in frame while an episode before a character mentions there name. Two forms of story telling both work really well yet Andor feels more rewarding.
