Simon Stalenhag is one of my favorite artist ever and when i saw that this show was coming out i instantly knew i had to watch it lol. Cant believe how good the show was tbh, it was a big breath of fresh air since so many series these days are just fast paced and full of action. Absolutely wonderfull series and i really hope there is more from this show in the future but i also wouldnt be surprised if they dont make more either.

I quite agree, i couldn't binge this because 1 episode was more than enough to chew on for a while. The music and camerawork was nicely done, the technology just created a weird ambience the show itself is all about the strangeness of being a living sentient being in a world where we die, we love, we change yet we try to cling on to things to make meaning out of it all.

Fun fact. Did you know that there was an RPG of tails from the loop? it's just as cool as the show. And looks very fun maybe you can play it in your spare time or just take a look at it.

What's funny is I was watching EFAP's breakdown of 'The Boys' s2 with this creator in it, and I was so impressed by his insight because he was saying things I've noticed while maintaining his point as he stood his ground when the other guys disagreed. His approach to media reminds me of the conversations that I often have with my buddy about subversion in modern "entertainment." This was the first video I watched, and I haven't seen the show… and now I'm definitely gonna watch it. It sounded like the same mindset on things that I have, except it's nice hearing a KZreadr say them. I'm so used to people being more drastic with how they oppose things because they're so jaded that they become bitter, but 'Coin' holds onto his values in the face of adversity. Some people are finding themselves turning into the monsters that the Left falsely claims preexisted, which is the hidden intent behind it. Thanks for the great insight!

Absolutely love this series. The slow pace made it so relaxing to watch and the meaningful storylines are addictive. There is something so surreal about how it feels set in the 60's while the technology is so advanced and futuristic. Second episode was my favourite, but they are all great! Last episode is so surreal! If only there was a 2nd series!

Each episode is like a painting. I live in Sweden and actually not far from where Simon Stålenhag (pronounced Staulenhaag as in "Paul") grew up (Ekerö north-west of Stockholm) and I clearly remember the surroundings in Stockholm's suburbs like those in his pictures. The series is fascinating, mind-blowing but as said in the review - not for everyone. But as a love Simon's retro-futuristic paintings of an alternative world, I found this series so unique, politically incorrect and refreshing that I couldn't stop watching. It's amazing how they managed to turn a bunch of paintings into such a captivating story. And as said, the episodes doesn't always end well, which was ground breaking to me.

Great summery of the show! I just got done watching season 1 (no season 2 yet) and it was a great ride. A slow ride... but enjoyable. What makes any story "great" is the character development. And as you stated that's what this show does best. I was connected to every character's journey and felt emotional about the outcomes...even if some were predictable.
