Sacrificing a piece, rook or queen is the most exciting thing in chess. Unfortunately I also struggle with the last one. I only remember playing one game ever where I sacrificed the queen for a checkmate 5-6 moves down the line. I wish I was better at spotting these.

Great video! I was lucky to have the opportunity to meet and chat with these legends on several occasions when I lived and played in Europe in the 80s and 90s. Brings back fond memories :)

so glad to found your channel, it is well explain and clear for me as english is my second language, I am French living near seattle, I have pay chess from 9 to 14 every day I was probably 1700, a year ago at age 62 I had to relearn the game it seems impossible, but yiur channel has help me to get back on the horse, as a kid I did only one tournement that I won, never played in a club on my my father and a computer my father bought to me in 1974, I play 2 years maximum on it, alaways playing at the level 10, computer taking 20 mns to respond, I am lacking in opening so I am trying to learn them. I had a question for training purposes is playing against lichess computer, is it better to play against their computer or the people lined up on their website, it seems easier to win against the compiuter :) thank you for all yoru effort to post so many videos !

The description points to a blog post, but i can only dig up the pgn for the first game. Where are the others? For Tal, highlights are never enough. After more trying, i got 7 games, which isn't 14, but looks like all that were released

If TAL could sacrifice and attack successfully of KASPAROV's calibre, that speaks of CHESS IMMORTALITY. Think TAL wd hv the only player to hv played with abandon with KASPAROV
