You guys are without a doubt the number one site from my top ten I watch. I am 77 years old and as you can guess "old school". I am retired military and law enforcement and as you can imagine I have been there and done that", but having said that you two have given me a whole new look on your generation. What you have accomplished working together has been nothing short of amazing. The love you two have with your selves and your Daughter is what most families only dream of today. I just can't say enough how much I love you guys and what you stand for and display. Just keep on keeping on and don't let any anyone get you down, because any negative or caustic comments come from negative and caustic people who are usually upset because they don't have the joy and love of life that you do.

Thank you so much for such a nice thoughtful comment Mr. Daniel! Your kind words are appreciated more than you know😊😊
Tip for anyone wants to find the center of any measurement within the length of their tape measure - fold the tape and put the end on 15' 5" and right in the radius of the fold is the center number -921/2". To find the center of a board or beam, example 15' 5", measure 7' 6" from both ends, then divide what is left after you minus 15' is 5" divided by 2 is 2 1/2". Using the tape measure to its full potential, will eliminate 90% of the math. This last way you don't even need a tape measure to find the center. Get approx. an 8' wall stud, mark the length from both ends, then use the 3 1/2" side to mark from each of these marks to find the center. 96" - 3 1/2" = 92 1/2". Math can be scary till you learn how to apply it in all forms, simple math, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus.
You're both incredibly blessed to be married to the best helpmate you could ever had. What an amazing couple, and I love your attitudes!!

Cute and fun video as always. Cracked welds are just caused by atmospheric disruption of the time space continuum, so it is no fault of the person applying said welds.

Another way of doing your beam would be to to cut your pipe post, attach to beam then weld some eye pads to top of beam and lift into place U would have support of post and the straps to safely secure beam against container And pretty sure you know this, but going to throw it out Dar! To make sure you get down to good metal and prime/paint with some Heavy Duty primer/paint. The individual brand not your box store brand. Leaving in SW Louisiana, rust bucket capital want take long to go from bad to worst!!!! I was always taught told, “cheap is not good, and good is not cheap”!!! lol
Hi Lydia and Jim! Great to see my favorite cajuns today! Great video Lydia; nice random scenes and good music selection. Ladly is getting so big. That was a lot turtles alright, you should keep a running talley to see how many you end up reloating out of the pond. It's always fun watching you two working together and I'm really enjoying this particualr project as I've been looking forward to it very much. There always seems to be something that really hits me good and is funny. In this one, it was Lydia's comment about Jims welding as I was thinking similar thoughts at the same time 🤣 I think goat farming would be a good selection, I love little goats!
