Taking myself on a Solo Trip to Kusatsu Onsen |2 day Itinerary| Everything I ate |Japan Travel VLOG
Hi everyone!
This week I took myself on a last-minute solo trip to Kusatsu onsen! This onsen town had been on my bucket list for a while, so I decided to make the most of my holidays and book a trip! This is a 2 day itinerary for anyone that wants to visit, including everything I ate!
The dates that I travelled are 6th Jan 2023 ~7th Jan 2023.
Even though I booked the trip a day in advance, I managed to get bus tickets online through this site:
www.kousokubus.net/BusRsv/ja/
The ryokan that I stayed in was called:
ELE hotel Onsen Ryokufutei
Please change the video setting to 4k.

You are literally living in my dream. With the chosen POV I feel like I'm experiencing it myself. Thank You for your on point editing skill.
The splendor of Japan is not limited to Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka. The Japanese countryside is beautiful. The Japanese countryside is well maintained and clean. Food is delicious and nature is beautiful. Shopping is just as satisfying as in the city.
Love how your vlog is showing Japan beyond Tokyo and sushi. So many lovely rural spots in Japan worth visiting. I'm obsessed with souveneirs of characters wearing an outfit that is specific to the area - I'll buy that Rilakkuma wearing a yukata in a heartbeat.

Glad you enjoyed! Japans so good with with local souvenirs! 💸💕
I went to Kusatsu ( a recomendation from a Japanese friend) by myself in 2003. I am Asian American and didn't know any Japanese. I took the train and was initially going for a day trip, but on my train ride there I decided that I should stay a night and explore! Everyone was so nice and helped me to secure last minute accommodation and find food that catered to my special diet. It was a highlight of my Japan trip.

How much the overnight stay?
Beautiful thanks for taking us to this amazing trip with you 😊😍
Yubatake is so unique and beautiful! I love those wooden structures. Btw 19:10 It says "お召し上がりの直前に just before you eat". Yes. Adding these soups were four minutes after adding the hot water.😂 If you add the soups first, it will be difficult to loosen the noodles.
absolutely loved it, hope you get the chance to take more of these trips while it's still winter, if not then at least small day trips, can't wait to see more of japan being so accessible with their amazing transport system, being able to have a wonderful weekend trip then come back in the evening and get to work the next day, love the editing and music too, your videos always seem so cozy and have a calming energy even when tokyo is super crowded it still feels like a small cozy city thru your lens
The aesthetic videography and editing 💯 Thank you for this wonderful video and Happy New Year Sol-san!! 💕

Wow, this brought back some good memories. I loved Kusatsu Onsen while I was there,l and I'm glad you made the trip, it is such a cool and relaxing area. If you haven't yet, I recommend going to the Zao Onsen and ski mountain. There's also the Fox Village nearby it for you to experience, a bit of a train ride but totally worth it!
Japan is beautiful. I love that park.
Your video really made me feel like I was traveling, it's really cool!

The ryokan looks cozy. I've never been to Kusatsu onsen but it reminds me of Nozawaonsen where I used to live. Thanks for a relaxing video^^

Lovely video, you really made full use of the 2 days...☺
I love this video. I've been looking at a lot of Japanese Onsen videos, they're all so beautiful and I can't wait till I visit all of them. I now know for sure that it's best to visit in the winter or spring (December-May), and I will have to find a friend/interpreter because there are rarely any signs, menus, and packages in English.
めちゃくちゃ楽しかったです! 😊 Thanks for video 🥰
I went once in 2018 as a side-trip on a roadtrip to Nagano. But I was only there for a few hours. This makes me want to go back and explore even more. When I went I went to this animal park but it'd be better if I had explored the natural onsen parks more. Your videos are so lovely thank you for shaing
Been wanting to go to kusatsu last autumn but i didn't have a chance and courage to take a bus alone😭 thank you for filming your trip🥲 bless you
verified: as soon as I feel sad, I turn on your videos - and there is peace in my soul Thank you

Nice wintry scenery especially with the green onsen. Those store seemed decdnt also. 🙌😃👍
It's funny how the big places were all full. But you found a good small place. It was cute and still very clean. Not every trip needs full course kaiseki, after all.
Such a peaceful, relaxing and entertaining video!✨thank you for travelling to the places i ever wanted to go for,but its sooooo far away from me.....
This place is a dream 🥰😍
Have fun sol thanks for upload God bles.

This was lovely, thank you! Would love a dip in a hot spring right now, it's so cold!! I also felt like you were almost answering me with the subtitles in some places. For example with the milk i was like "why milk?" and then the subtitles: "i don't know why but it's..." :D that was fun
Thank you for coming to Gumma!!
Awesome place to visit in Japan.
Even tho I already went to Japan for vacation, I literally wanna live there

Very nice videography. Of course the continent is so beautiful and I really want to be there. Good job!❤ There is one thing I’d like to mention and that is a cutting off of the head. I noticed said had been a big thing in the past and it’s starting to go away I’m happy about that. It seems like the video is more personal when you can see the person who is showing the video. It’s sort of like you’re someone that I would know. Also the cutting off of the heads is super bad feng shui, in my feng shui book anyway :-).
I enjoyed the trip to Kusatsu Onsen. I felt like I was there with you...
